- me tooThey called me after I posted on CareerBuilder. I asked Perry from Bankers Life insurance were they Metro Accessible and he told me yes. They are located all the way in Waldorf and don't pull up on the metro route. It sounds like a big round of recruting to sale insurance.
- Caller: Bankers Life
- Job Seeker| 2 repliesI received a call from this number today after posting my resume on monster.com, Courtney Perry left a message. Thanks for the heads up I will not be returning his call.
- Ibs replies to Job Seeker| 1 replyThe same person Courtney Perry left a message. Thank you for providing all these information. I will not wast my time to return the call.
Thanks. - SeptemberI received a call this morning from this number and I didn't answer. I listened to the message that was left and didn't understand what "Courtney Perry" was saying. I Googled the phone number and found this site - thankfully!! I called and spoke to a male version of "Courtney Perry" and confronted him about them about being scam artists. He act as if he didn't know what I was talking about and then stated that he and the company were aware of the reviews and that they were working on resolving this scam artist issue! Ridiculous the extremes people go to.... And by the way, this was a cruise line job and not insurance!
- Caller: No Idea What He Said
- Call type: Telemarketer
- LisaI received a call today from this number and I didn't answer. I didn't understand what the man was saying but he mention something about my resume and Waldorf. I Google this number and found these comments. I posted my resume on several websites so I'm not sure which one they got it from.
Thanks - Jesse Ewing replies to Nicole TurnerI just got a call from the same person a min ago... but sounded like a guy to me! lol
- AnnapolitanYeah, I get emails from these insurance company recruiters ([***]) all the time since I posted my resume or careerbuilder.com. They want me to come to work for them as an independent working strictly for commissions scaring up leads for them or something -- I have no experience in the insurance area whatsoever. And they'll tell me all about this exciting "employment" opportunity if I come to one of their meetings. They make it sound so urgent, too, sending me multiple emails telling me that I have to reply by (x) date!
I haven't gone to any of these meetings, but I've read about them online (ain't the internet wonderful?) What they apparently try to do is sell attendees a kit or something. So this isn't an employment opportunity as much as it is an attempt to sell unemployed/underemployed people something.
But today was the first time one of these [***] phoned me.
Well, now they're blocked.- Caller: Some scammer working for an insurance company
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Love replies to IbsI updated my resume yesterday from Monster.com and receive a call from the same number just this morning. I didn't pick up. Thank God. If you don't recognize a number don't pick up because it could be a scam like this number. Always look up a number to see if it is from a legit company to be on the safe side.
- StaceyI received two calls this morning, I didn't answer. I think it's ridiculous, to post your resume in these sites thinking, you get legitimate calls, but they are scams. Something needs to be done!
- KJust got a call from this number on 6/11/15 no msg left so I googled it. Glad I did. I think he called last week offering me insurance.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- R.G.I got a call from this number and they didn't leave a message. I usually google the number to try and find out who it is if they don't email about a job or make themselves known. I'm glad I did.
- Same ossueI got a call last week from a lady who I couldn't understand stating she wanted me to come in for a interview briefing. I just kept saying "uh huh " bc I couldn't understand her. She emailed a confirmation of our interview and even did a update call yesterday to make sure I was still coming. I didn't go. They just called again from the number you guys are talking about. Glad I googled it. But the email states they are hiring for Bankers Life
