Got the phone call this morning, some "financial" agency. Wanted me to enter in my debit card number. Umm yeah right!

They also called me 3 times in a row yesterday afternoon while I was at work. I didnt answer.

I also got 2 back to back phone calls from this #. Same thing. My debit card has been compromised and I need to push 1 to recover it.  I didn't push it but stayed on the line and after a minute of silence it disconnected. Umm yeah--sounds like a big scam.

Just got a call from this number.  An automated voice told me that my credit card had been deactivated and if I wanted to reactivate it please press 1.  I did and then the voice said that the call would be monitored for my safety and protection.  The first thing they asked for was my 16 digit credit card number.  I stayed on the line for a moment and then hung up and tried to look the number up and found this.

Exact same thing happened to me, but it's 2pm.  Mechanical female robo-voice said this was Mastercard, my debit card was locked, and I should press 1 to be transferred to their security department.  Immediate hang up.

What's frightening to me is that my mother, for example, would get alarmed and press right through and probably do whatever they asked for.  These a**holes need to be squashed.

Just got a call from this OUTFIT on my new cell number, automated voice saying that my debit card usage had been restricted and to press one to reactivate.  Hell...my bank doesn't even have my cell phone number.  Yes, I join all of you in this crusade to find this [***] bunch of lunatics.  Why can't the FCC end this kind of harassment??

I had the same thing happen to me last week on 8/2/12. I was on vacation and my phone rang and the automated voice said my debit card had fraudulent activity on it. I found it suspicious that there was no identification as to what bank was calling and that it wasn't a live person, pressed 1 as it said to and when it said to recite my account number I hung up even though it said that it wouldn't be stored (or whatever it said). I tried calling the number back and it said the number was out of service. The only reason I even pressed 1 is because I saw it was a Delaware number and I live in Delaware. I checked my account and it's OK.
Even though I was suspicious that this call was a scam of some sort it wa still very upsetting to get this call. Thank you to everyone who has posted here. I'm sorry it has happened to each one of us but it's helped ease my mind that other people have received this call.

it's an automated call saying my debit card has been limited

My spouse just received a phone call from the 302-729-2500 phone number but they told my spouse that it was a phone call from Bank of America and that our card number had been reduced and asked for the card number.  So FYI, it sounds like a scamming group.  Also, we received the call at 10:10 pm Pacific Time, so that is a definite sign that it is a scam.

Just got a call at 12:25AM CST,didn't answer it but when I called back I received a message saying it was a non working number...be careful and DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION!!!! (just stating the obvious)...

Man just called me from this number threatening violence...nuts!

I got 4-5 calls in a row when in class. I got fed up and added the number to my phone book and then used the block caller option. now the calls go straight to voicemail. HTC Wildfire S.

I have a new phone now, just haven't canceled this one yet, hopefully it helps others?

They called me during school, I didn't answer and it said that it wasn't a working number code something dash something. And then it said something that sounded like 4text.com

I have been getting phone calls on my Private work number from this company for over a month!!! They are asking for a person named Antonio and that "He has been approved for the loan he requested on line, from Advanced Loans" I have told them multiple times "There is no Antonio that has had this number in over 3 years". I have asked to speak to their manager and then told them to make sure that this number is put on a do not call list! The "Manager" said for $1,500 I can be removed from the list!!! Really, told them that I am reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry and documenting every phone call when they call me.
I have have over 45 phone calls from them in just the past two weeks and I have had several numbers show up not just the 302-729-2500.... URGH
How can we make this stop, I am in sales and I am loosing money off every phone call.
