3 times today this number has called. First time they hung up after first ring, 2nd time said "good bye", 3rd time could hear clicking like typing then hung up again.

Got a call from this number today, ID Bridgeville DE. Thanks to everyone's input here, I blocked it immediately.

302-956-9406 called my cell phone today at 1:35 PM. Caller ID said call was from Delaware. I don't know anyone from Delaware. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. After they hung up I blocked this number on my phone.

Got a call from this number in which a man told me my PC has some problem and try to help me fix it ... he also know my name (but didn't tell me how he got my name).  Just hung up.

I listen to a Christian radio station on line. Whenever I get a call from someone I do not know,
I answer the call and put the receiver up to the speaker to my computer and go about my
business until I hear the busy signal. Then I hang up the phone.

This company claims they are Microsoft tech & that your computer is in danger of crashing & they need to fix it. They tell you, you do not have much time. They want to get into your computer & fix the issues. They tell you the cost of getting protective ware, $249 for lifetime protection or $199 for 3 years. Once they are in your computer they change the computer password & you can't do anything-not even turn it off. If this happens UNPLUGG everything. This is called RANDSOM WARE!

Told them to stop calling and the man said no

Told me he was from Windows support and there is a problem with my computer.  There seems to be a problem with my computer daily, I am getting frequent calls from several different numbers stating the same thing, but sounds like the same guy

Claims to be Microsoft Windows tech and states that there is someone trying to hack into my computer. Completely bogus. Block and report this number.

I got a call from this number. He was telling me that he is from technical department of computers. He told me that I have to turn off my computers including Mac and Windows. He knew my name and old address. It is something weird.

telemarketer called about a computer I  do not have.

Caller said he was calling me about my computer.  Which I do not currently have.  Since he said I have a computer, I asked when it is arriving and he hung up.

Sounds like a scam

Once again, another spoofed number with a heavily accented scammer telling me he is from IT Support calling about my computer.  I have engaged these guys more than once -- they like to argue.  One guy once told me that yes, his mother was actually very proud of him.  Regardless, I told this guy I knew who he was, where he was and what he was doing, take me off his list and he started yelling at me.  Worthless piece of waste of space and air.

Called telling me my computer was having problems and that I should go to my computer and wait for further instructions.  He apparently figured out I was "playing along"  when I asked him what i should do next.  He told me to do whatever I wanted and hung up on me.

If you get a phone call on tech support, and use Microsoft, here is where to report them. Please include as much info as you can.

Hang up call in violation of do not call.

A male individual with strong accent called my mom with dementia two times during the day.  He called me saying it was regarding my computer and that my mother told him to call me at night.  I hung up on him and he called back yelling !!

Mircosoft doesn't call people and tell them they have computer problems. That proves you are being called by a scammer.. It's not like any of you will get in trouble for making them feel small and insignificant, because they are crooks. Just start laughing loud and try to sound insane until they hang up. They think that they are smarter than you to start with, so just try to make them feel like the clowns that they really are. It may not work every time, but it makes me feel smarter than them.
