Number called me twice, answered once and asked for me by name, said it was an important business matter. I just hung up.

Call constantly, very early mornings...never leave a message.

not going to lie, i have been recieving an increased amount of completey RANDOM phone calls in the last several months, and when I saw this one come up yesterday, knowing it was a scam number, i answered, belched loudly and hung up.
oi vay.

I got a phone call from this number and it said this is not a solicitation call so please hold and then it is hung up.

Posting on thse sites only shows the rest of us the calls are bogus, which is good. But it doesn't resolve anything.

These are not legitimate calls. A debt collector will use the mail. There are laws about debt collection. Yes, some harrass, but asking for your banking info by phone is not a legitimate request.

Call the phone company to ask for a block on the number. Tell them that you are being asked to give bank account numbers over the phone and are being cursed at when you refuse.

If you use a cell phone, save the phone number on your cell phone with the name "don't answer", then ignore those calls. They will indeed stop.

This number calls me from the time the sun comes up until the sun goes down don't know how they got my number but am sick and tired of all the calls.

Didn't know the number, didn't answer.  They left no message.  This is a proven scan call.  Do not answer.
