Just received a call and let it go to VM.  It was an appointment confirmation service my Dr. uses.  Totally legitimate.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta uses this for appointment reminders.  It's a little annoying because I've encountered this number for several different entities and since all it says is "important message" you have no way of knowing what automated message you are about to get.  I've had it for this, plus for BC/BS doing reminders about their health management services, which I prefer to avoid since my son's issues are managed by a team of physicians and the last thing I want is a nurse at BC/BS attempting to managed everything.  It is a great service for entities to be able to subscribe to these automated services, but someone needs to develop a way that the entity's name shows up in as the caller.

3032561031 - keeps calling monthly that my cat needs his medicine.  I do not have a cat.  This is annoying and suggest you block it with your cell carrier.

Thyis is a service that hospitals and medical offices use to remind patients about appointments, etc. They may occasionally misdial, as it is completely automated. With the economy in the [***], more companies outsource instead of using employees for these things. Nothin' funky.

Don't know who these people are, but they have been callling at least every week for the past three or so months and don't leave a message.  I have tried to call back and get a busy signal.  Can only assume it's a telemarketer.  If I find out who they are, I will post who they are on this message board.

Kind of stupid to use an area code from half way across the country to call people to remind them of appointments.  If I don't recognize the number I don't answer.  I have no idea what appointment they might be calling about because I don't have one scheduled.

Kind of stupid to assume (ASS U ME) that the area code is a reason to ignore a call when your number can follow you anywhere in the country now (cell phones, VOIP, forwarding services, Skype, etc.)   I'd rather have the number show than "Unknown Caller" or "DENVER, CO" on the display.

This service can guarantee you that the phone numbers they call were input by a doctor's office in relation to an appointment or scheduled reminder.  They have had less than 1% reported errors by medical clerks typing in the wrong numbers and they don't "officially" know of any case where they called someone who now has the number of a former patient.  (Although they have read people saying that on-line.)
