We have been receiving calls from Rocky Mountain Reader asking for my daughter.  I just handled two consecutive calls within 5 minutes from two different sales reps.  They claimed they were calling about her subscription to Rolling Stone Magazine.

Sounds like they are just a telemarketing company that sells discount magazine subscriptions.  They call very frequently and are not very tactful.

Continuous calling and when answer, nothing is said

303-467-6801 Call this number, to complaint to their main office. The guys claims that their computer is calling all over the country, something to do with a computer error.

Rocky Mountain Reader has been calling me for the last few weeks.  They call multiple times a day.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  The last time someone this irritating tried to call me I finally answered and told them I was dead.  That stopped the calls.  Maybe I'll try it with this one.

We keep getting calls from this number every day, and they hang up when our answering machine picks up. VERY annoying!

Thanks for all the good information here. My husband wanted to renew the magazine he gets so I did, only to be called 4 times in 2 days by this company again. When I tell them I already renwed they claim to not have our billing information. I refused to give it a second time. So now I will have to watch and see if we get charged and if we get the magazines. In the meantime, I will be contacting both magazine publishers to complain. If they are a legit service then the publishers need to know how badly the accounts are handled.

well im having the same problem they call may two or three times a day and its gettin on my last nerve seriously i may need to get my number changed or just report this number

They have been calling me 2 or 3 time as day for about a week.   A few day's back I answered and they wanted to discuss my husbands credit card account and I hung up.  This morning they wanted to know if my son's Penthouse magazine was coming on time and clean!!!  I told them that he didn't share that kind of information with his mom!   Anyone figures out how to get rid of them, I'd be interested.

They literally call at least 7 times EVERY DAY. I have never picked up.

If you get to speak to them, they’ll pretend they ‘have a right to call  you,” pretending that someone in your household is doing business with them - this is total BS. After you tell them not to call, they are allowed one ‘oops’ call in 12 months, no matter what computer glitches they say they have (more BS).
 Keep a log of when they call you.  Let them know you are doing so, and that if they keep calling, you can sue in a local small claims court for at least $500 (this would be your own local court)

These calls never stop!!!! We always let it go to the machine, but they never leave a message. Also on the DO NOT CALL list. How to stop this insanity???

Got the call today from Reade Rocky??. They left no VM. When I called the number I got some guy in billing. When I asked who they were he became rood and said they had several companies in several buildings and then he said abruptly, Thanks for calling and hung up.

My suggestion is to go to www.donotcall.gov and register your home and/or cell phones on this FCC regulated site, if you are not already registered. If you are and it has been at least 31 days since you have registered and you verify your registration on the site, then file a complaint with the FCC, which you can do on the same site.

This phone number appeared 15 times on my caller ID today alone.  I'm the DNC list.  Never leaves a message. This has been going for several days.  Does ignoring them work?????????????

i got 4 phone calls today out of the blue from them.  I did not answer but know they have gone on these calling frenzies in the past.  I just don't understand it.

Called twice today. First time I picked up. A woman asked for my husband, by name. I said he's at work, could I take a message. She said, "Oh no hun. I'll try him again later."

Second time I let it go to the machine. We hear a guy in the back talking, then the line goes dead.

They just called again. This time I answered and quickly hung up on THEM.

I was Recently Employed by interstate readers league of Atlanta i worked there for two hours and walked out. DO NOT BY IN TO THIS BULL**** you do get ripped off all the "gifts and prizes" are fake false crap, it doesn't matter who u are or when they call your conformation number doesnt change from the previous caller! they promote harassment of the people call and write it off as aggressive sales.if your wondering about the $25,000 thousand dollars they promise your entered to win don't be. the script they had us read, well you can clearly see all they did was white out the year instead of printing new ones, the watches, eh buy your next watch at Wal-Mart it will last longer and you will get to wear. as far as contracts go they barely care about who they sell too you just have to have a way to pay they don't keep records of who buys what other then what you write down at your desk. The subscriptions can not be canceled ever. and the interview process is total crap....my suggestion don't answer and if you do tell em where to stick the scrap paper they are writing your credit card number on!
