Was called on mobile number last week, it is a number I do not give out online.  The caller's number in the UK was +1-303-442-9290.  The US  +1-  code appeared in front of the USA number.  They knew my name, I asked who was calling and they replied Canadian Pharmacy, I hung up.  They are known to be huge scammers/fraudsters so be very wary.  Canadian Pharmacy use many numbers but to also assume the ID of Microsoft that is a true SCAM to get hold of your computer remotely and steel everything about you including your passwords, PIN numbers and all your ID so they could do anything using your name and ID including crime.   Report them to the US Police - get them off the web and all Phone networks, they are very well known to be serious criminals.  Very concerning when they know your name as we recently had fraud, and found a virus on our PC.  Now getting Canadian Pharmacy Spam emails so it has to be these people.  Now continually blocking their numerous email domains.  Do they also hack PCs and phones ?   We will never know unless they are caught so if someone in the US can report them to the US Police do so now before someone loses everything.  Very dangerous fraudsters.

I received the same call as the other posts except mine was from a woman who spoke broken English & wanted access to my computer for virus problems.  I told her that I would have my son, who happens to be a Computer Programmer & IT Specialist, look into it & she immediately hung up.  Watch out everyone, this is a dangerous scam!  My phone listed the call from a phone booth which alerted me from the start.

Got a call from this # and the same thing... about the computer not working and that I had a really bad virus that he had too get rid of for me.  Told him to loose my #.

Minutes before got a call from a girl from # 631-581-9211.... same scam

I got the same call today. I just said good bye to the lady who was speaking because I had no idea what she was talking about.

I got a call from this number today. It was a woman, she asked me if I was the same person of Facebook. I just said good bye to her.

I receive a automated call from 303-442-9290 this morning stated they had been trying to contact me regarding the IRS is filing a lawsuit on me to call immediately number 255 **** then its garbled (very digitized) can't understand anything then its disconnects. Never once even in the beginning do they ever give their name or company or  the name of person they are looking for.

This call came in pretended they were IRS and i was to contact them immediately on a case or else Brithist accent female did the talking

Received a recorded message from this number (303-442-9290) claiming to be from the IRS and the message was a final notice that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to get more information on it to call 209-813-2710. I see from all of the postings here that this same 303 number is being used for other scams. I'm reporting to the IRS because if anyone files a lawsuit against you there are rules for service the person with formal legal notice of a lawsuit (notice of process) and unless those rules are followed, even by the IRS, a court will dismiss the case. I've worked for law firms and that's how I know this.

ID said Denver Colorado.  Picked up and a robocall message said they were from the IRS.  and it was the final notice.  Reporting this one for the do not call list breech.

They said they were the IRS. Does the IRS contact people this way?

Said it was a pay phone and the recorded message was the current scam saying that the IRS is establishing a lawsuit related to my account.

I got a call from this number claiming it was the irs.  Beware and don't give out your information.

Called to offer me a rebate on my council tax. As they are calling from Colorado, USA I thought this highly questionable. Let him talk as the longer he is on my line the less he is attempting to fool others.

I just received a call from this number 303 442 9290. It was an automated call indicating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and that I was supposed to call another number to get further information. I tried calling the 442 9290 number back and after 3 rings, it stopped ringing and I got a dial tone.  A total scam.
