Also got a call from this number, but I missed it. Looks like I wasn't missing much.

this is a Spanish telemarketing sweepstakes...its all BS of course...the message basically indicates that you WON...won what? I have no idea...if you bare to listen to the whole message it asks you to press 1 to be transfered over to an operator...I've done so several times but it connects me to a busy signal...it's annoying as hell!!!

Who are these people. From this number. Somehow they have cell phone and home number.

Got another call from this number to my cell. Never answered the calls as the caller is unknown to me. I am sure this is a spam call. Yuck!!!

just got that call on my cell phone!     I just ignored it..   them darn ppls!

I couldn't find ownership records, but I did find their phone service provider (the records may be out of date).  I thought I'd give them a call to let them know that their customer was violating their Terms of Use - they actually seemed to take my complaint seriously.  We'll see.  Filed with the FCC, too, but I'm curious to see if contacting their phone company helps at all.

In the meantime, I'm going to brush up on my Spanish and have some fun with these guys ;)  They're paying for the call (in theory, anyway), we might as well make it as expensive as possible.

And "Big mike", FYI: Mexican is not a language, and "sz", you might want to brush up on your own command of the language before criticising anyone else.

Samee call in the Charlotte, NC Region. Same Dam Spanish speaker.

Just got the same call from this number.  Heard a Spanish recording on the line; I don't speak Spanish.  After waiting it out for the recording to end (10 seconds or so), I said "Hello?" and the call was disconnected.

Ditto...Someone just called my cell 10 minutes ago.  I didn't answer.  Called back and said the number was no longer in service, kinda peculiar that so many people have the same issue with the same #...

A small part of me feels somewhat special.

ME, TOO!  I'm aware of the FBI center there.  Have been getting 'blind' calls to my FAX number, too.   Numbers are in DO NOT CALL registry.  Guess that doesn't work anymore!

Just got a call from this number 2 hours ago. May have something to do with some craigslist jobs listings I emailed a couple days ago. I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

I did not answer any number that I do not know. Any body that calls me better leave a message or never will get a retur call.

Same thing at 7:04 tonight, didn't answer - call back says disco # or cannot be dialed.

Anybody recently applied for a job from here, if it is an FBI thing it could be tied to back ground check information, but seems absurdly weird that they would have a prerecorded msg. in spanish.

Out of sheer curiosity from stumbling across all these post dated from 6/28 till now, it seems they are flooding out calls.  Would love some resolution in finding out what the deal is.

Just got the same call. I pressed #1 but got disconnected the moment an operator took my call. Getting too many of these lately from all sorts of different numbers. My cell # is unlisted and I never use it for anything except calls to family so it's not like mine has been swept from registering my number anywhere.  Funny that I put my number on the National Do Not Call Register but I'm still getting up to 5 scam calls per week.
