this is serious folks and everyone needs to pay attention to this.

after the call from the 305 # of course I went and did a check on Google and saw the post that there might be some criminal mischief going on here and to becareful of your identities. Alright here comes the good stuff and people please do a through check of your computer.

I decided to look at my internet connections and settings and noticed that there was additional connection "internet gateway" enabled and 2 skype connections enabled allowing whoever had skype to connect remotely into the computer. I also noticed that none of my internet connections were firewalled but I looked at my windows firewall settings and it was enabled. Hmmmmmm!

Something tells me that these conference call messages or these hang-ups are deliberate and there somehow trying to connect remotely through the phone lines using the skype voice over ip service...I tried continuously to get my firewall enabled on the internet connections but had no luck. I disabled the skype connections so it wouldn't allow entry.

Here's what you need to do:
- disconnect totally from the internet
- do a system restore
- run a full security scan on the computer

Since the system restore all connections are now firewalled. Check all and other computers using your network to make sure nothing is vulnerable or changed.

They've been calling me for like 2 years now.  I logged onto bookmaker.com and made an account and decided not to deposit any money and they keep calling and leaving messages saying that I can get some bonus on my account and so on.  I get a call like once every few weeks.  I never answer it.  It's ridiculous!  STOP ALREADY!  [***] YOU!

This is from bookmaker (online gambling website) and they asked for someone that does not live here and hung up before I got to ask questions. I seen in one message that said to call BookMaker at 1-877-321-9466 to get pulled off the call list. I called, transfered twice, someone had the phone in their had for about 1/2 minute before talking to me. They said they would take my phone number out, waiting to see. Not right that they do not say who they are...

I recieved an annoying call from 305-459-3512....advising me they were calling about my account (that I do not have)!!!!.....I was reached on 410-878-1662.....pleeeeeeeeeeease no more calls!!!!!!.....

this is bookmaker, but let me say that I now use betus and they are a good sportsbook.

lol @ BetUs.  They are a far worse sportsbook.  Good luck getting any money from them.

Online sports book....they will wear you out. Most of the time just a recording.

The same non-English speaking man transferred me to someone who just said hello.  I asked what company it was.  He said bookmakers.com.  I said I was calling to have my number removed from their call list.
He said you have to send an e-mail to remove@bookmarker.com

Called, I answered, and they hung up. This has happened several times over the past couple weeks.

It's not Bookmaker.com making these calls.I have had an account for 3 or 4 years with them. They are one of the most respected and oldest offshore sportsbooks there are. Besides that, I got a call from this number today. I went to Bookmaker.com and it has been seized by the US government. Glad I withdrew all my money a couple months ago! They wouldn't be soliciting US citizens if they can't access their website. Something shady going on, but most definitely not Bookmaker.

ok, I just found out that the US government seized the domain name "bookmaker.com". They have a new domain name and I assume it's business as usual. Doesn't change my opinion that it's not them calling. I bet it's a competitor. They call and hang up a few times and get you pissed off, then call and talk to you and tell you that they are from Bookmaker. Do this to several hundred or thousand people and they all start calling Bookmaker and posting bad stuff about Bookmaker on the net. The fact that the number that everyone on here is calling, 1-877-321-9466, is not customer service, it is the number you call to place a bet, supports this theory. If it was them calling they would give the customer service number, 1-866-926-****. Headache for bookmaker transferring hundreds of calls to customer service and pisses off the victim even more because they can't get through. Bookmaker has called me before, after I would go a few months without betting, and Bookmaker.com actually showed up on caller i.d.

The number that shows up on caller i.d. doesn't mean anything. There are several services that anyone can use to make any number they want to show up on caller i.d. Spoofcard.com is the biggest.

got a call from this number and all I heard was an automated voice saying "you have been kicked from this conference call" or something like that.  Called back and got an out of service message

Recorded message stating, "Please enter your conference number followed by the pound key"
