This number calls and a recording played when I picked up which talked about winning something with home security.  I hung up before too long.

They are scammers trying to sell home security.  Call from many different numbers.  Hang up if you ask them not to call your number any more.  I don't understand why they keep wasting their time calling the same numbers over and over again.  They call here almost every day.  I hate them.

Got 4 calls today about a alarm system. I am gonna go thru with it and when someone shows up to install it I will split his head open. Then see if they call again

Didn't leave a message. Must be a telemarketer.

Got a call from this #, answered he wanted all kinds of info - name, address, age, ect. Would not tell me who he represented or why he was calling. He said he needed info before he could tell me who he was.

Just received a call from this number unknown caller. I am sick with renal failure and this is so disturbing. I have called the attorney general office of my state and they referred me to Consumer Affairs office. It no use, they are not going to help you. I just simply let it ring, turn off answering machine also. They want ever get me to answer, anyone who does not give a name is up to no good in my opinion. Thanks.

Long message about security installation. Press 9 to be added to their 'do not call' list, press one for more options.....pressing either # does absolutely nothing!

Caller ID just says -- Nebraska Call

Friday 1:18 PM Feb. 22, 2013. Got a call from this # wanting to put a security system in at absolutely no cost
to me. I must let them put a sign in my yard. It was a recording.

Received call, didn't answer. Looked at comments. DO NOT DIAL NUMBER TO BE REMOVED FROM LIST. All that does is show that your phone is an active number and then the number is sold.

said the FBI reported a lot burgs. in my area. Tried to sell me an alarm system. Figured the FBI had more important things then local residential burgs!!!!

Caller ID was from Grand Island NE

Same telemarketer is still at it 2/22/2013.  We don't answer.

Like many of you, we have received the recorded messages.

I’ve had our cell phones and home phone listed on the National Do Not Call Registry. If you haven’t registered your phone numbers, I suggest you do that now.

Now, if you have registered & continue to get telemarketing/recorded msgs/etc… then you can go to the website at donotcall.gov & file a complaint against those companies calling you.

This is what the the Complaint section on the donotcall.gov site reads:

“1.You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.

2. You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).

*Reminder: Even if your number is registered, charities, political organizations, and telephone surveyors may continue to call you. Companies with which you do business may also continue to call, unless you have asked them to stop calling you. If you have asked them to stop calling, please keep a record of the date you made the request and include information in the comment section of any complaint you submit against that company. Click Here for more information about the companies that may continue to call the numbers on the Registry.”

There are many states who have their own Do Not Call websites as well. If you search online: the name of your state and do not call list, then you should find your State’s website.

OR you can go online, find your State Attorney General’s office (or call him or her) about the calls being received to file a complaint. Trust me, no company wants a State Attorney General’s office contacting them (and with the State’s looking for money anywhere these days due to the poor economy, the State Atty Gen offices may have a fine to slap on these companies…)

I know it is another step for us to take but it may help us, or someone else down the road, by filing the complaint.  Trying to help and keep all of you informed. God Bless all of you!

For some reason I have been receiving many unwanted calls lately.  I finally puchased a panasonic phone that allows me to block numbers.  This is another # I'll be blocking.

Got a call from this number today, while i was at work, on my cell phone.  C'mon, daytime minutes people

Just received my 2nd call this week and probably 10th this month from these Alarm scammers.  They hung up when I answered.  I have been trying to get contact info but every time I start asking questions they get nasty and hang up.
