These people are some persistent [***]. Call almost everyday, and on Satruday AND Sunday without fail! This has been going on for the past 2 months now.

me too --- multiple times a day... no message.  
if it were legit why not leave one.  It is interesting tho, these started after a 312-957-???? did the same thing.
I answered once and nothing - since then there is this LA number.
I am unlisted and on the donotcall.org list for years....and I update it annually.

I've been getting these calls since the beginning of 2010.  Sometimes they leave a one word message which is my last name.  They don't answer when I pick up.  It must be a robocall of some kind.  Does anybody know?

Just got a third call from these people.  I wasn't home for the first two, and of course, no message.  This time, though, they asked to please speak with---the man who lives in the apartment down the hall!

They must be using some fouled up list that displays unlisted phone numbers but no apartment numbers.

Good way to get rid of these pests, by the way, is to say "Can you hold on for a moment?" and then set the phone down and walk away for a few minutes.  Waste enough of THEIR time, and eventually they'll put you on their own "Do Not Call" list!

Calls 3-4x a day for the past month. I'm never home. Shows up on the caller ID. Never leaves a message. Finally called the number back & a recorded message says, "Thank you for your past support. If you no longer wish to be on our call list please leave your name & phone number." I did. Let's see if it works...

They call me morning noon and night, as many as 6 times a day .  If I don't answer they don't leave a message , if I do they ask  for me by name  . I say I'm not home,can I take a message? and they say it's just a "thank you call "  They are a fundraiser group for any number of charities , if you should donate they will never stop calling  so just say no!

If I find out where these [***] are located I'm going to go bash one of them right in the kisser.  Like the rest of you there is never a message left on our machine.

Calls started last week, they've called at least 8 times and never leave a message.  I can't wait to get one of them on the phone....  I will talk their ears off and waste as much of their time as possible.  Or I might tell them I'm dead.  

There seem to be more and more unsolicited crap calls in the last 6 months.  Hoping they get as many pain in the [***] calls at home, and at the least convenient times too, just to make it really irksome.  

I phoned them and asked to be removed from their list and told them I'd seek action if they persist.  They have no idea how I hate to be bothered by nonsense calls.  

I hope they leave us all alone.

Same here. They called today, Sunday afternoon. Saw the call was from California.  Did a Reverse Phone Search to no avail (unlisted number) prior to coming here. They left no message.  This isn't the first, or second, or third...time they've called. In my irrational anger at the moment, I really wish telemarketers had to leave their home telephone numbers.  They really are a pain in the backside

They are calling me to I answer they do not!!!!!!!!!! Stop Calling!!!!!!!!

I have ATT and have call blocking so I just diales *60 and blocked the b'tards

Been getting calls from this number for a week or more.  They never ring long enough for it to go to voice-mail, nor long enough for me to get to the phone, for that matter.  Pretty annoying!

23 calls in the last month.  Finally found the reject function on my phone, thank god.

I answered and it said the call was from the Audubon Society and proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to receive calls from them in the future to call the number they were calling from and request to be removed from their list.  The call told me who they were and how to get put on their do not call list, then hung up.  Screw 'em.  I'll pick up and listen every time to increase their phone bill.  Maybe I'll try pushing buttons to see if I can get into a never ending menu system for a couple of hours or so next time.

Call is from Facter Direct, aka Donor Services Group, in LA.   They are professional fundraisers for various legit charities.  However, they keep most of the money raised for themselves, rather than give it to the charities that people thought they were donating to.   See here for an example their results in PA:

They claim to be exempt from Do Not Call regulations because they are calling on behalf of charities.

Let's see.. multiple calls, and no messages are left on answering machines (that's good). In many cases, they hang up (or there's just "dead air") if someone *does* answer. What kind of business model is that?

One in which they're scamming the NFP's who've contracted them to do solicitations?

Or it could just be employees (or independent contractors) who get calls routed to their home phones as part of a work-from-home scheme, but who don't actually want to be bothered doing the "work" as long as they get paid.

This sort of activity is a form of harassment.  Two-three times a day, including Saturdays and Sundays, morning, afternoon or evenings, this number calls.  Never lets the phone ring for the answering machine to pick up, or else hangs up without leaving a message.  If we answer it, a mechanized voice says" No one is available to talk right now".  As seniors we need to have this stopped immediately.

I used to work for them and hated it. I appologize for any inconvenience. They used to be on Wilshire Blvd in L.A. but am not sure if they're there anymore.
