They called & hung up after the first ring.

Rang twice and then hung up. Left no voicemail.

Just got a call from this number, rang once answered and they hung up. This is exactly why I usually don't answer calls from unknown numbers.

These appear to be unsolicited marketing calls.  They never leave a message.  My sense is that they mine new Craigslist posting for numbers to call.

I got the same.  One ring then hangs up.  Do you think they are just wanting to see who return calls to use for marketing purposes?

2 rings and then hung up. no message.  called back and same as Frank above, said I visited one of their websites and they are offering 1) a $100 rebate card for certain stores or 2) press 2 to be taken off call list. I pressed 2. Let's see what happens.

Do not call back! these are designed to get you to call them so they can legally add you to their call list. If you call them you made contact and they can now call you back at will
