Just received a calll at 8:37 am Tuesday October 16, 2012. Was 1st contacted by this supposed paralegal telling that ther were charges filed against me and that I needed to contact this legal law firmvand ask for Xavier Marshall that he would explain all this to me . Tha number that they asked me to call 607-795-7354, well what they don't realize is that my caller id sheer that to be the same number that the supposed paralegalcontacted me through. Why Ulf you ask mlame to call this # and ask for this person when all you had to do was transfer me to the other line to speak with this Xavier marshalll said that there wwere charges filed against le and then I lost service. Well before I called Bach I pulled this info up on the computer and all of them stated that this was a scam.

I received a call from a gentleman who told me to call (607) 795-7354 and ask fro Xavier Marshall. He gave me no information but told me it was regarding a legal matter. I called this guy back and he told me that I was being sued for not paying back a loan.  WHAT LOAN?! He neglected to give me the specific company that was suing me and is trying to get met to "settle the matter out of court."  He said $698.36 would cover the cost and that I needed to get a "money pack" from Walmart or Walgreens, call him with the numbers so the matter can be settled. He told me they would send the authorities to my job, blacklist my name, etc, etc. He to me so send in a letter to explain my situation.  Something told me to check online to see what information could find on this Attorney Xavier Marshall and I found story after story regarding this SCAM. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! Thank you all for voicing your experience, you just saved me a $698 head ache...money i don't have to waste!

i just received a call and the man did not speak english and said they was a lawsuit filed against me and i needed to call this number and talk to mike robertson and he would explain the lawsuit i am not calling i beleive this is a scam.

This a clear scam. I called made up a fake name and fake SS# and they told me I owed 3200.00. They got your SS# from a payday loan office or something similar to it. I would seriously consider joining other people on this site and filing a law suit against payday loans for leaking your personal information to these thieves. They're are not in California as they claim. They are from somewhere in the Middle East. If you like to see for yourself call the number back by dialing a *67 before the number. Give a fake name and a fake SS# like 946-13-4457 tell them you received a voice mail and you want to pay whatever you owe. Spread the word that this is a scam. I would hate to see hard working Americans fall for this scam, especially around the holidays. God Bless

Got a call stating there is a law suit I laughed because they called a few days ago using a different number but saying I had to call Xavier Marshall hahaha get a real job you idiots

Called me by the Name of Andy and told me there was a legal matter and for me to give him my attorney's name and number and that he would release this information to him instead of me. I question them and informed them that they need to inform me of what it going on and gave me a this number and told me to ask for Mike Robinson from LA, California.

thank you all for commenting about this the first time i really believed i was a victim of identity left and 2yrs later its happening again. Once i Googled the number i was aware i was not the only victim. i definitely called back and cussed out the man on the other side. this is harassment.

same here i receive the same phone call but this was a man saying his name was Mike Robinson, i've never heard a strong Indian accent like this with a common name. he told me if i dont give him a call back that i would certainly lose my job, plus go to jail, and had to go to California for a hearing. it was almost convincing he told me my bank stop a payment from coming through about a loan i had already paid. i called my bank and did a three way and my bank told him that the payment had been paid and there dont stop payment taking out without any consent. then he said it was an application fee for $90 i had to pay and because i didnt pay it im being sued and i have to pay back the $300 i had already paid. he said he gonna call the company to verify, and tranfered me to the manager of the company name USFASTCASH
which also was an Indian Guy. This Is a scam going on I'll suggest to anyone whos been involve to change their account numbers

this number called my cell phone and finally called me at my job confirming my last four digit of ss# then stating I am in trouble with the federal goverment regarding an online loan volation and i might be arrested as of tomorrow.  I was terrified. I said are you serious.  He said his name was mike robinson. But I noticed on the voice mail the name given was mark robinson, he had a accent and on the v-mail he had nerve to say and God bless you in this matter.  He also said i could settle this matter out of court by setting with them before the court date.  What court date? I said. I even went to the police station just to make sure I did'nt have a warrant out even though I don't live that kind of life style. Now I am worried someone has excess to my personal information.

I receive threatening messages from this phone number.  Indian guy.  Threatens my personal safety.  I've stopped answering but he leaves nasty messages.  Got him on the phone once- to ask questions- because I AM an attorney-- and he got even nastier and hung up.  

It is a totally scam and harassing and it's illegal to tell someone a lawsuit has been filed (if one hasn't).
If one has, you would know because a lawsuit has to be properly served on you.

Do not pay this person any money.

This dumbass non American idiot has been blowing my phone up. So I finally call back he says his name is Michael brown. When I call they hung up on me twice because I knew it was fake. Then turned the phones off so it goes straight to voicemail. so I returned the favor and left and bunch of bs voicemails. I like my Arab voice better!

My friend got the same call and its a scam someone needs to do something about this creep. Told her in order to stop the warrent she would have to pay $400 today by 11am. she said she only had $100 and they they said ok but they dont know if they can stop the warrent with that... as they told her to hold on the sherriffs department is on the other line..then we called them back with star 67 and they called her phone right back. they had her on the phone threatening her for over an hour saying they were gonna take her social security check and everything. she was hysterical.
They called from607-795-7354 ext 121 when we called that number back they answered American legal services. the guy said she had to go to CVS and put the money on a card called Vanilla reload Network then call him back and scratch off the number and give it to him...but the total she had to pay was 3,473  for criminal federal banking

Today I received the same call-  word for word as yours.  But I was suspicious from the beginning.  I did call back-  he already knew my cell, and called my job repeatedly; wanted to speak to my boss (NO) wanted verification as to my last four digits of my social (I lied-- NOOO).
Told me it was a lawsuit and if I didn't pay it would get downloaded to the courts..  (HUH???)
Now, I DON'T have credit cards or owe any outstanding debts..  But I DID apply for and get a payday loan online,  which I promptly paid in full plus bloated interest one week later (green cash).  When I babbled this off to this """paralegal"""  he did hesitate and asked me who?? Like it rang a bell with him.  But he still would NOT disclose any info on the supposed lawsuit as to who it was from, what it was for..
I went to the cop shop after work and talked with an officer about this so he knows it is going on in his area,.He wasn't  familiar with the name but knows he scam.  I will also be calling my bank.
Xavier Marshall is also listed on RIPOFFREPORT.com..   BAD people- harrassing and threatenening folks into paying them...
phone number he called from 607-795-7354 supposedly from Horseheads, NY but I doubt it's even in his country-  The ""paralegal"" very obviously eastern indian with a heavy accent but american name.  When I called his atty's "office" i got a voicemail that sounded very strange- every word sounded like it was clipped off other recordings and mailbox was full....

I received a call from Xavier Marshall stating that I owe loan aplication fees & that the government was filing a suit against me! He said that my DL would be taken away, that I
Would be fired, I couldn't leave the country for 7 years,etc...
He also told me that I have to pay almost 4,000 in court. But I could just pay 400 & I
Wouldn't have to go to court or be blackballed

This happened just a few days ago. My husband and I were looking for a quick loan so that we could pay our huge electric bill. Well anyway, We get a phone call yesterday stating that my husband is being sued for a payday loan from ez payday loan. Told him 2 US Marshalls would be coming by to pick him up and carry him to CA. He said "Yay thanks I get to see my Uncle I have seen in years because I can't afford to go out there!" We reported it to the sheriff's office where we live and sure enough it is a scam. Please talk to you law enforcement people first. They will let you know what is going on. Plus they can not extradite you to another state without a court hearing.

Wish I read this before I threw money away I'm pissed Xavier Marshall. Just took my money threatened 3 hrs in prison said a us Marshall would come to my work and arrest me .due to online loan I took out. Many threats and called my job continuesly
