They called asking to confirm that I received some information I requested and would I like to have an admissions officer talk to me.  

Calling the number back (after seeing the number reported here), I got an automated message that the number was for "official DePaul business."

Got a call from this number last night.  When I answered, it was a woman from Depaul university asking questions about information I had requested.

This number has been showing up on my cell phone.  I have never been able to answer.  We were in Chicago 3 weeks ago looking at DePaul for my son.  Makes perfect sense.

I got this call about 10 minutes ago, and accidentally missed it.  I didn't know who it was, so I went on here and read other messages.  Because most, if not all, people that reported this number, I decided to cal it back.  I didn't get anything that was mentioned-- it said the call was from a DePaul University representative and was about University business.  This makes sense since I inquired a couple weeks ago.  It's weird that I got a different response than you all.

opps- I read similar messages.  Maybe I should proofread before I post :)

more than likely their admissions/school of new learning.
it's an admissions call, and they are probably calling from a list they've been provided of someone contacting them or asking to be contacted about information.

Looks like its a DePaul university from Chicago ,IL. Possibly recruiting for undergraduate admission

I received a call from 312-362-7040 with no voicemail. returned the call back and it was an automated message from DuPaul University

If you fill out an online application for DePaul, but do not complete it...a representative from this number will call you to follow-up and make sure you meet the deadline.

Its DePaul's line, probably calling you to make sure youve sent in your early application.
