They call during the week, day and night and weekends. I answered one call and no one was there. Normally, I just don't answer. There is never a message left. They should be stopped. How can this happen when you are on a no-call list and have an unlisted phone number? So much for being unlisted!

constant phone calls from this number.  They also call as turnkey solutions from a 1-800 number. only hangs up when i answer very annoying.

They call and hang up at least 3 or 4 times daily.  I have called the number back only to leave messages on a machine for "Turnkey Solutions."  And they still call.

No one responds on the other end when I answer.

What has worked for me in the past:
**IF** you know this is from the Tribune, set aside 20 or 30 minutes of "fun time" (though it isn't really fun), and just repeatedly tie up a number at the Tribune that they really need. I think I'll start the subscription department. This tatic does really work and I'm going to try it beginning tomorrow. You just keep calling back-DON'T give them your number. Say things like "I've been getting lots of calls at night, could you give me the home phone number of an administrator so I could call him/her about 8:00 pm." If they ask for your number or name, say: You obviously have my number you've been calling it." Then say you're going to call them back 10 times for every call you receive." Trust me, it works. They will get you off the list.

BTW: This works REALLY well with the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.

Meanwhile, just keep filling up constantly the answering machine at Turnkey.

Let's get this action plan going and make it sustained for 1-2 days. It will work. Don't be mad or insulting, just tie up all of their extensions and talk nonsense.

Forgot to mention in above comment, the reason not to give them your number is that you can turn it into a repeating conversation: "Well, you have my number, obviously, you've been calling me. So how about your number at home?" The idea is to cause them enormous frustration and tie up their phones. They have call ID, for sure on message taking extensions. So they can get you off their list. Again, it's to cause them frustration, denied telephone service, and wasted time.

You do have to approach this with a little mischievous fun, otherwise it would drive you crazy!

We have been receiving these calls over and over again and no one is there when we answer. I just read the postings here and so I called this number back and a woman answered with just a "hello". When I questioned her on whether or not I had reached the correct number, there was no answer, no "click" like I was hung up on, just dead silence and then a busy tone. So, I called back and threatened a call to the BBB and the phone company if I received a call from them again. Once again, no busy signal until I was done with my rant ,.... so we shall see. We used to subscribe to the Tribune who this number seems connected to. I wonder if the Trib sold phone numbers to this company which should be illegal or if they are doing some marketing research. Regardless, the fact that they do not identify themselves, tell me that something is very fishy.

Those calls get to my fax number.. hee hee

I am on the do not call registry and have an unlisted phone number as well.  To date I have received 41 illegal calls from this number.  Is the Tribune management SO STUPID to really think a person would subscribe to their paper after this abuse???  If I ever considered subscribing, I never would because of the way they are treating people.  They will have no one to thank for their demise but themselves.

These people call us, over and over, even though we stopped subscribing to the Tribune over a year ago. (We are also on the Do Not Call list.) They are really rude, too, IF you actually answer, and IF a person doesn't hang up on you when you do.  I think I'll call the Tribune on Monday, and tell them they'll never get us back, especially with their telemarketing harassing.

They've called several times. They hang up on me OR the answering machine. They apparently don't want to talk to people, just call them. So, I tried calling the number that came up on my caller ID. Turnkey Solutions. I've been getting calls from several different numbers lately. ALL trace back to TurnKey Solutions. What ARE these people and what do they want?
