Why do I need answer questions about immunizations when don't have children?
Thanks to the "former employee" for posting your rant. Maybe if you didn't have an attitude you can get a real job where people actually like to interact with you.

I finally found a very helpful person at NORC that removed my number from their list, along with an apology. Suggest you e-mail Welch-Bess@norc.org, and NICELY ask to have your phone number removed from their list, and NORC will be happy to comply. That should end the calls once and for all.

I dont have any kids and I had my number removed from the list as well.

Jobs have rules right? The rules for these interviewers are to ask all the questions of all households(with or without kids) to make it standardized; that's how survey's work. I know that I my job, whether or not I agree with all the rules, I have to comply in order to keep my job. Take me off your list works if you can spare 10 precious seconds to tell them that... how are they supposed to know if you don't answer? Saying  "stop calling" or "F you" and quickly hanging up does NOT work! Also, everyone works on a different schedule so they can't predict what time is convenient. Suppose it really is inconvenient for you, WHY DO YOU ANSWER? If you do want to do the survey because you realize it actually helps neighborhoods and don't have time, let them know what day and time is good for ya... Lastly I'd like you to ask yourself "Where have I worked that every single employee was perfect at their job and never got fired?

this explains it.Its a legit study. University of Chicago's National Opinion Research Center (NORC) was contracted by CDC to conduct the CDC's National Immunization Survey...its done annually according to website. Yes, the calls are a bit  much! They will keep calling until they get you or if you tell them to take you off their list.

Forreal, lets think about it. If you child gets sick and dies from a disease and now your all mad and salty, when really a few minutes out of that day when you were watching a dumba** show could've helped get more resources in your community and saved you childs life. so now you look like an a** to yourself for yelling at people who are simply trying to help you. Its the same as fighting someone in the Red cross. And to the person who says it's not illegal to go to the doctor and request the records be sent to the CDC, you should go read a book. not only is it illegal, the survey toouches or more grounds then just the vaccination records. they asked demographic questions so they can determine what households need more help. So stop flippn complaining about America not doing anything with your tax money bc even when they do, you ignorant people shut them down or hang up on them

I also was receiving calls from them. I started a survey but when I had to get specfic about my children with their ages and names I opted out. They have called everyday sometimes more than once, I have even told them I do NOT want to do this survey (I dont have 20 uninterrupted minutes). I just called this phone number and she assured me I would be removed from the call list. Thanks for posting!

Day and evening, every day.  I guess they will harass me until either I pick up or die.

Another waste of government money....

I finally came across this number (866-999-3340) and the woman who answered was very apologetic and told me I would be taken off the list and she was sorry for the inconvenience. Amazingly, I was taken off the list shortly thereafter.

If this number calls it doesn't hurt for you to answer the phone and three quick question or say take me off the list.

How do I block this caller?

Constant, unrelenting calls...last night at 8:45. I don't pick up.

I don't care who it is calling me from that number.   You have been asked three times now to cease and desist.  When someone asks you to stop calling, especially with a blocked and UNLISTED number, do it.

The does not apply to research calls or fundraising calls it only applies to those who are selling something. If you want them to stop calling please ask them to stop calling you/ take you off their phone list.

I seriously wish the government would stop annoying people with their money grubbing programs and "research" experiments and leave people alone.
