The caller ID said Chicago.  They called yesterday while I was out.  Left no message.  I would not have answered anyway since I don't know anyone in Chicago!  We are on the DNC list, but I have serious doubts that it does any good whatsoever.

I just got a call from this # 312-800-9037 says its from IL, USA  Nobody on the phone when I answered it.  I called it back and got  recording call cant go through at this time etc and all static.
I am so sick and tired of these calls.  Enough already!!

Keep getting calls from this number. No response if I answer and no voicemail if I don't. I heard it could be a scam.

These doosh bags call me almost everyday. I bought a Callblocker, my phone doesn't even ring and they get disconnected.  The entire area code is blocked as well as the other area codes they use.  Best $100 I ever spent.

This number has called me 5 times this week.  It is a pre-recorded message that states "Please don't hang up. This is Discover Account Services calling with important information..." The recording tells me to press 1 to be connected with an agent who will lower my interest rates on all of my credit cards.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number.  I have never answered any of them.  Figured it was some type of scam.  They are annoying and wish they would stop calling!

it's the ubiquitous "lower your credit card interest rates" scam. They change their number all the time. I used to wait until someone answered and ask them if they liked working for a scam, but it's a waste of time. They must get paid by the number of calls because half the time no one even picks up the call. I added a call blocker to my cell phone which appears to be the only answer.

I have gotten over 100 calls from this number. I am also on the Do Not Call list. As soon as you report the number they switch telephone number to avoid FCC sanctions.

How did you block the number?

I've had 4 call in the last two days. I finally answered and it was a robo call regarding credit cards. I hit 1 to speak to someone and when i asked to be removed, they hung up on me! I tried calling back and no answer?!? This can't be legal. Thankfully my phone has a way to send straight to voicemail so until they change their number, the problem should be fixed...

Same method each time.  I answer, there is no one on the line and it hangs up.  Call back and dead air.

This number is calling me everyday between 2-6 times a day. They are calling from a few different area codes as well to lower my interest rates. I press one to speak to an an operator and ask to be on the do not call list and they hang up on me EVERY TIME!!!!!!!! The last lady I spoke with when I asked nicely to please be off the list she replied with "yeah right" and hung up on me. I am being seriously harasses and want to take it to what ever level I need to to get this to stop. They are calling internationally and adding additional charges to my phone. This has been a year long nightmare!!! I use this number for buisness and can't change it. Please let me know what I can do next

I have done the same thing.  Used call block with Verizon for my cell phone and my home land line has a feature of "call block".  What a pain.

The FBI gave me this website to file a complaint   ic3.gov
They have not contacted me regarding my complaints...

I am so tired of these calls coming to my cell.  I do not answer when I don't recognize the number as I only have given out my cell number to a very select group of people.  I keep a whistle near my phone and blow it as loud as I can.  Maybe if they get enough people blowing whistles or other devices that made loud noises they will stop calling. Being on a do not call register does not stop these types of calls as they are using a software program that randomly dials numbers. Whoever this is it does not make any sense why they are calling several times a day and every day as they never say anything.  I am not even sure they are on the line when I blow my whistle.
