Yes they can call you the first day you are late.  You signed an agreement to make your payments on a certain day and they expect to get paid on that date.  The loaned the money, now pay the bill.

This number started calling yesterday. I don't answer numbers that I don't know so I just let it ring. They leave a voicemail each time that it's from Ford Motor Credit and to call a toll free number. I don't have a Ford, and when I did have a car payment (which I don't anymore) it was through a different company. If this is a legit business like some of the comments say, then I'd like to know how they got my number that I've had for 16 years and why they're trying to call me.

1-313-216-2022 calls and then received text messages regarding my FORD loan.  I've never owned a Ford and never will.  Just keep adding more numbers to the blocked list.

This number is calling my 10 year old son.... Pretty sure he doesn't have a loan through Ford motors

Weird call. I only answered as it appeared to be from Ford Credit (he had my name) asking me if I knew about the new Ford Focus (never owned one, never leased one) I told him this call has nothing whatsoever to do with me. Generally I don't pick up these bogus calls - this one got me ugh!

this number keeps calling  I want it to stop.

I keep getting calls from this number about money owed.  I do not have a loan from Ford Credit. When I call the number to tell them they have the wrong number, they want an account number or my social security number.  Since I don't have an account number, I can't give them one and I'm certainly not entering my social security number

I would contact Ford Credit by certified, return receipt mail if I were you.
