Just got call live in NY  they left no message  NO CLUE who it is

Just got a call from this number. Did not answer, they left no message.

called my cell phone. Auto system, something about lowering my CC rates to 1.9%. Did not press 1 to continue - not about to give out my personal info!

Did not answer, no message left on my voicemail.  Where are they getting cell number information from?

I picked up and got an automated message about credit - I hung up.

I'll fill out a complaint at the donotcall registry.

Just got this call. I answered and after a few seconds of silence the call disconnected.

Got a call, answered, it was a call service asking about Yaz.  Hung up.  Unfortunately, I called back to remove myself.  They asked for my social security number (I typed in 123-45-6789) then asked for my birthday, then asked for my home number.  I hung up.  Then I found all these complains.  Literally, just called about an hour ago.

Yes, I had the same experience.  I hung up and then called the number see who it was.  They asked for SSN to take you off their list.  This is obviously a front for an identify theft operation.  It should be reported to the Michigan Attorney General's office.  If no one else has done this, I will.

Just a clarification:  I gave them no information.  As soon as they asked for the SSN, I hung up.  They were somewhat smooth and sleazy at the same time when they asked for this information.  They said something like, "We realize that this is sensitive information and we are asking in strict confidence, but we need your SNN to verify that you are who you say you are."  It's as though the burden of proof is on the caller to prove his or her identity to an anonymous automated call center.  What gall!

They called me tonight at 5:48pm on my cell. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail. I'm in the Atlanta area code.

No voicemail just my cell phone ringing. Did not answer. At 5:31 EST pm

I'm glad I did not pick up my phone on these dirt bags!
