They called and told me that it concerened a personal business matter. They asked me to cerify my address and if I was not comfortable with giving them my address then I could give them my birthdate or last 4 of my SS#. I told them I would not give out my info when they were not willing to share who they are. They said they would mark me down as refused!!

Receivable Solutions is the name of this collector. They are a 3rd party debt collection agency that purchases your debt from others who have already wrote off the debt.  If it's wrote off, you are no longer responsible, hence the reason these debts are not showing up on your credit reports.   These people scam you out of your money, if you're dumb enough to pay them.  DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS.

Said this number was with Resolution Solutions and needed to verify some information.  Told them I don't have any outstanding debt and to take my name of the list. This number has been calling day after day.  Hope it stops now.

This was the funniest conversation ever.  Sh wanted to verify my mailing address because she had a confidential matter to discuss with me.  I told her no, and asked what she wanted, she wouldn't tell me for fear that *I* was the one phishing for info!  LOL.  I'm like YOU called ME, how could I phish...?  Anyway I don't think I owe anyone any money and based on this page, if they are a legit collections company, they must be woefully unsuccessful at what they're trying to do.

Whenever a company calls and starts out by saying "very importaint business matter"  this is legal terminology and the key word you listen to is "matter".  In legal circles this is strict language used by attorneys or collection agencies.  If collection agency, they must back up intent to file a civil matter.  Hope this helps.

I recieve the same type called from this company and before they could tell me anything I had to verify with them who i was and I refused.  When she told me it was a business matter and again wanted to confirm who I was before she discussed, and she wanted my ssn and address.  I refused and asked again the name of the company and finally was told so I hung up.

I use to be in collections and worked for several attorneys, so the the key word is "matter".  Anytime a company calls several things must happen.  If they mention "business matter", "legal matter: or anything close then its about a legal issue and their intent....settle, pay or be sued.  When they fail to tell you the call is it collect a debt then they are in direct violation of the FDCPA.  Always keep a record of the call, who called you, time of the call, the tone of the call, and a brief summary of the call.  It will be your best friend if you have to file a counterclaim.  You lawyers out there know I am right and I stand to get pushback on this but it is the truth.  Those who are on the receiving end of the call you are not bound to disclose anything.  Get that "anything".  They will threaten suit.  The key to this is they better have full intent on filing or they are again in violation of the FDCPA for harassment.  Good luck out there!

Received 3 calls from this number today and they left a number to call back and when they answer they want account number and or my date of birth and when I told them that I don't have a account number and not giving them my date of birth they hangup on me

refused to give me any info on why they were calling until i verified my address and birthday.  i hung up

This number calls me regularly. When I'm available and answer, the person on the other end says they are calling about an important personal matter and need to verify my identity. They will spout off my address and when I say I'm not validating anything since THEY called ME and have not identified themselves, next question is "what is the last 4 of your SSN". I have told them repeatedly to MAIL whatever it is to me and have yet to receive anything by mail. In the end they threaten with "I'm marking you down as refusing to validate your identity" - and I've actually been told it makes no sense that I won't verify PUBLIC information about myself.

I said " Hello". No one spoke back so I hung up. No call back.

Called me 5 times in one day. Every two hours they called and I won't answer a number I don't know. I rely on the voicemail to tell me what they want and if it's something important that I have physical proof on then I'll call back. They never leave a voicemail but sure do blow up my phone at all hours

I just got two calls back to back and did not answer as I am nearing “finals week and have an “all in mentality. No voice mails were left but they’re now going on the (blocked lst) because of your posted.
