I have been receiving calls for almost 2 weeks now, Each time I choose the opt out of any more calls option to no avail.  I have recently refused to renew a redundant subscription which I chose to let expire because my understanding was that if I was a paid subscriber to a special ethnic local publication, I would receive the Sunday edition of one of two local general newspapers. .

We are on the do not call list and they ignore it and keep calling go so many that said they were from Comcast and we about to lose our TV channels well got news there is another channel to take their place and don't even have Comcast.  So stop calling us will again report you to the do not call list tried of your stupid calling early on mornings and any other time you decide to call.

They SUCK!  Calling every freaking day, few times a day.  No message!  Get a F---in life you guys!

I have rec'd a call from this number like 20 times this month, so I finally answered it. I asked who they were & how they got my number. It was Dayton Daily News but no answer on how they got my name/number. I told them I was not interested & guy was not going to let it go with that, so I hung up on him.

Called by them numerous times, bordering on harassment. Never leave a message & don't answer when call back.

started 4 weeks ago. they call 3 to 5 times a day...never leaves a mesage...lets phone ring 3 to 4 times.
my number is on the national do not call list....this is abuse.... I pay for my phone service for my use only and not for telemarketers' trying to make money... enough already!

For those of you looking for more details, the name of the caller is The PISA group.  They are a telemarketing company located out of Oklahoma.  Amongst other things, they have a very aggressive subscriber retention division.  They work with publications throughout the US, calling former subscribers to get them to come back.  Typically, unless you specifically ask, they will tell you they work for  ________ newspaper with a special offer.  They WILL continue to call if you do not answer.  YOur best bet is to actually answer the call, tell them to remove you, AFTER FINDING OUT WITH NEWSPAPER THEY ARE CALLING ABOUT.  Then follow up with the newspaper directly and tell them you do not want to be contacted again.  If you ARE interested in resubscribing, most newspapers will make the promo rates being offered by third party solicitors.

Have received 3 calls from this number over the past 2 days.  They leave no message and in fact hang up after 2 rings, but it's enough to capture their ID info,  Have had these calls in the past.  They act as reps from the local newspaper, who also called twice last week.  I WILL cancel my subscription if this keeps up.

I am in California.  I've been getting daily calls from this number for several weeks, coincidental with filling out papers to start my new business.  They NEVER leave a message.  I guess I am on a list now.  Ugh!

This number has called me numerous times.  Called me three times yesterday.  Doesn't leave a message. I don't plan on ever picking up on a number I don't recognize.

Answered the 12th call received in 8 days. They wanted to sell me a discounted subscription to the Dayton Daily News. I'm not sure what got my number on their list, but hopefully they'll stop now.

called at 8:35 p.m. left no message; I, too, am on the DO NOT CALL LIST - it does no good - seems like more calls than before registering on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Maybe that list was "hacked".

called 3-25-13 at 8:17 p.m.; ID shows PROMO DEPT.  Also called 3 days ago - same number - hangs up after 4 rings. Probably some sort of scam.

I'm in Ohio, and I got one this morning. I cancelled my newspaper subscription a few days ago. I also subscribed through a fundraiser - mine was the Cancer Society. Must be a national call center.

Receive calls from this number. Most annoying they call two or threetomes a day. My number is on the do not call list.  Make it stop.

Annoying as heck! they do no t leave a message.  Please make it stop.  If it is for a news paper, please get with the times! I don't buy paper newspaper.  I read it online!!!

I believe this is a company that will try to sell you a subscription to your local newspaper. When I did not renew my subscription about a year ago the calls started. I eventually block the number, have peace for a few months, then a new number starts calling! I am on the do not call list. Does anyone even pay attention to that list?? Even if I wanted to start up home delivery again I wouldn't because of their harassing ways. I'm so tired of greedy companies that think its ok to call any time of day to disturb people for a product they don't want, and know how to get if you do!!

I called them back and the message says it's a disconnected number!!!
