This company represented themselves to me as a law firm.  Yvette from that company has been harrassing me regarding a contract I had with J & J Security in Deltona, Florida.  Now I find out from this site that they are not a law firm.  They are a collection agency misrepresenting themselves as a law firm.  Who should I report this to?

Got the call at suppertime. with a recorded message.

Report them to the Atorney General of Missouri - and to the Secretary of State.  They both take complaints about businesses that operate in a deceptive manner and harrass - unlawful.

Got a call from this number stating it was a law firm.  They were trying to collect on an account from an alarm company (Security Networks-Scam) their alarm didn't work and I refused to pay until it was corrected.

I had a call from them saying they were a law firm as well I had a broken security system.

Been getting calls from them about a collection on an old storage unit I had.  They even tried to lie to me once and say that I could get sued over the $400 dollar balance that was created with the late fees and such.

This company keeps calling claimimng a lawsuit has been filed against me and I will be contacted about a court date with failure to appear will result in a jail term for a debit I created in 2010, which I never created have no idea who these people are they call at home and at work, I have explained to stop calling because my employeer monitors my phone calls and I was warned if the calls did not stop I could be fired. After explaining to Ms. Susan, she replied that was my problem and if I paid my debits like I promised these calls would not be neccessary, and will continue until debit is paid.

They kept calling me everyday sometimes two or three times a day so i filed a bbb complaint against them and they stopped.

What the hell stop calling I do not owe you any money

Find yourself an attorney in your city who handles collection agency malfeasance and the good ones will handle your case on a contingency basis because a collection agency cannot call themselves a law firm as this is a violation of the law.

I dont know this company keeps calling

I had a man call me from 314-786-3961 and said that I owe $ 450.00 loan of a $100.00 I got in 2009 and he claiming I got the loan in 2011. and told me if I didnt pay this today that they where going to have me arrested on a felony. and then I told him I did have the money to pay it. he said I can pay him $200.00 tomorrow and then make payments on the rest. he said his company name is (C.P.G) Center Processing Group. I called the cops and was telling a officer about it and she told me not to pay them anything. but the man said if I dont pay it by 9am in the morning they was going to have me arrested. I dont know what the hell to do.

Do Not Give Them Money this is a scam

Ignore them.  It's unlawful if them to threaten to have you arrested, if they sue you, which is doubtful, worry about it then.  These collection companies buy the right to collect the debt from the original lender for about 10 cents per dollar, so if you pay them the full amount they make a 90 percent profit.

Getting a call from this lady who didn't speak very clearly but had the last four digits of my SS# and asked for me stated I had a complaint against me when I asked what this was in reference to and what this was in reference to she said; IF YOU WOULD STOP TALKING I WILL Tell you...Who says that, and whom doesn't speak to someone in a business like manner?  I know that this is a scam but I tried to get information from them so that I could call a debt attorney as sue them but as soon as I said I was going to report them to the Attorney General's Office they hung up on me.

A Mr Rosenthall had called our home this morning and was very rude and was inquiring about my daughter, he never would tell me what or why he was insistent on getting ahold of her but continued asking my mother (85) personal questions. I have caller ID so I called the # back but the # I have is 314-590-0880 and so beware if this is the same company because they are now using another # which simply says This is the OFFICE of Morgan Rosenthall and Thomas and your call may be monitored. They never disclosed what or why they needed to get ahold of my daughter

Number was 314-590-0880. Asked for my 20yr son. Never said why calling. Rude woman. Told her my son wasn't available till Dec because he is studying abroad and she said well can't you get a hold of him?? Said no so she just said I will make a note of that!
