The director of the Madison County site told me this number calls the state on their behalf and collects items for sale to benefit their nonprofit.  She gave me two corporate office (GA) numbers to call to tell them to stop calling.

It does exist. I've received calls from them and I have left clothes on front porch. They leave a tax receipt

Love Ministries is real.  They have picked up household items and clothing for me several times.

Calls several times a week all hours of the day including weekends.

The only way this so-called "Love Ministries" got my number is if someone there worked for another organization that takes donations and stole their call list.  I believe this is a couple people that are running a scam......taking the donated items and selling them.  My opinion.

The woman on the phone was noticeably pissed off when I told her nicely that we donate our items to Disabled American Veterans.  "Love Ministries"?  I don't think so.

I get calls from this number all of the time. No one seems to talk, then it hangs up. Creepy. I called it back and finally an answering machine picks up. I left an irritated message questioning why they keep calling and hanging up on me. Told them to quit.

I do not answer phone if I don't recognize the number or caller.  It only says Indiana Caller and they call twice a day at very inconvenient times and wish they would stop.  I donate clothing to the Good Will and have no intention of donating to them so if they are reading these complaints....your wasting your time.

This number is owned by love ministries, a scam group that uses the good intentions of people to steal money from them.
The web site they set up is a well constructed pile of lies ! Not one church they list as affeliates claims to know them and not one event they claim to provide has come to pass.

They need to be investigated by the Federal Government, including the IRS for tax and also breaking many of the laws we see under RICO cases.

Have asked to be removed from their list 3 times. Reporting them to the Attorney Genetals office. A## wipes!!!

Continually call. I don't answer calls if I do not recognize the number. Very annoying and I would like them to stop!

This call is from Operation Love Ministries, it is NOT a scam, they have a website, check it out. We've lived in our home for 11 years and they call every now and then, a nice lady will ask if we have anything to donate and if I don't she nicely says "ok, have a blessed day" she is never mean like others' here have commented. We had an old T.V and a bag of women's and girls clothes that I agreed to donate, the lady asked me to place them on the driveway or porch and she said someone will call a day in advance to confirm which they did, I out the T.V and bag of clothes out this morning with a "Operation Love Ministries" sign and they just picked it up. The will take old T.V's up to 35". I will definitely donate to this place again. For those that are ignorant and saying it's not a 'real/ legit' cause please take a look at their website: http://www.operationloveministries.com/ and stop posting misleading and incorrect information! Also, the people called you aren't paid to call and ask for donations, they are volunteers helping a good cause!!

Also, for those calling it a scam, don't be stupid! They will provide a receipt if you want one for tax purposes!!

I know my church knows them and so do many others. The org helps people in Madison County Indiana and hundreds of people getting food there each month would disagree lol. The church people might not have known about the pickup service, but they definitely know Operation Love Ministries. You can check with some of the biggest churches in town (Anderson, IN) such as East Side Church of God, Christ Lutheran Church, Madison Park Church of God, Cross Roads United Methodist, First Baptist Church, South Meridian Church of God and more.

I wonder if it is someone posing as them.  When they called me no one said anything, weird electronic music played for a short time then nothing.

There are many churches listed that can verify the legitimacy of Operation Love Ministries. I called the first two on their list at operationloveministries.com (Bethany Christian Church and Bethel United Methodist Church in Anderson, IN) and they both immediately confirmed! So, not sure who you were calling.
