This number has called my cell phone several times. Left no message. So I came here and see it is a collections agency. I don't have anything outstanding to be collected. And I don't know where they got my cell number since only my parents, my sister, my 3 kids, and my daughter's school has this number. I have a landline too and I use that for a phone contact for any other things.

You are all dumb. Most of you complain about them not leaving a message. They are not allowed to leave a message by law unless they have talked to you on that number before or your first and last name is on the voice mail. Second thing, if you don't know why they're calling answer the F'n phone and find out, it takes two seconds and if they have contact the wrong person because you have a new phone number then the old debtor they will remove your number. By law if you say never call me again they can't. Plus if its the wrong number believe me they wont even want to waste their time calling you anyway. Also if you are the correct person they have to verify it by you CONFIRMING your DOB, SSN, or Address believe me they have this information but need you to say in on the recorded line so that they can't be sued for disclosing your personal information to the wrong party. So just F'n confirm it. Most of the time they ask you to confirm your DOB and nobody on the planet can do anything with your F'n DOB or thousands of famous people would've already been targeted way before you. Your DOB is public information!!!!! Lastly if you don't owe the government money then they are probably calling you because you are related to or friends of someone who does and they are attempting to ask you if you have a good number for them. If you do owe them money they have plans as low as $5mon if you are broke and after 9months you will be out of default and it will be off your credit score so nobody has an excuse not to voluntarily pay because eventually they will find your job and if you qualify they will garnish you and take your taxes so just set up a payment plan and quit tryn to run from it.

Any debt owed to the government (even a traffic ticket) never goes away until it is settled. I should know, collections was my trade and the window you are talking about of ten years has to do with how long a judgement is good if not renewed by the creditor and the court. Seven years has to do with how long a non-judicial debt can stay on your credit report if it is NOT a debt owed to the government. Not only is your debt alive and well, interest is accumulating against it.

They called to try and collect student loan money from me but my funds are protected. I am on a very low Social Security payout and as they can only take a small percentage over and above the cost of living, I might have my SSI check garned for $10 per month on a $25000 bill.

I do not feel any obligation to take their calls or respond to their letters. I was a collector until earlier this year and I can tell you they have tools at their fingertips that will tell them this is a dead debt. I used student loan money to carry me over when my unemployment ran out. Now that I am on SSI, I don't need the loans as a source of revenue.

Just in case you think a bankruptcy will offer a way out...wrong! Nothing owed the government, including taxes, ever goes away no matter what chapter of bankruptcy you file. Even in death, your estate is not protected. Your children get what is left over after the government takes everything owed them.

Doubt me? Consult with an attorney, not a friend or family member. If I was a collector today, I would not offer to you any guidance. You could try drdebt.com

I have no debt whatsoever, not answering phone for folks I don't recognize (i.e., this is MY phone, and I decide when and if to answer a call).  If, as Joe says,   they're trying to get to other folks I might know, that's their problem and a waste of my time.

    Called on 1/12/2014
I received a call from the number 317-322-3614, identified as "Premiere Credit" this afternoon.  There was a prompt asking me to press "1" to accept the call.  Since I did not recognize this number, I did not do so.  Hopefully, I do not see the number again.

Got a call on my cell. Didn't say who they were but were looking for someone who must have had this cell number long ago. Told them I wasn't him and the lady's voice sounded like, 'yeah, sure'. Called the number back from a different phone and got Premiere Credit. Added the number they called from to all my phones as Do Not Answer. From the Premiere Credit web site: We’re not a one-size-fits-all kind of company when it comes to the serious business of recovering assets for our clients. Premiere Credit of North America is a trusted accounts receivable management partner for the federal government, universities, guaranty agencies, private lenders and many other asset class creditors.

Calls my cell phone looking for the guy who used to have this number (well over a year ago). Received enough calls from this and several other numbers that I began putting "Do Not Answer" in my caller ID for those who called me repeatedly even after I had repeatedly told them I am not the guy they are looking for, nor am I related to or a friend of that guy. Wish they would leave me alone. Did not answer this time but I recognized it to be Premier Credit from the numerous other times they have called and I've told them I'm not the guy - and they have told me that they would remove my number from the file. Liars.

    Very annoyed
I received two calls today from this number. No messages were left. This number will no longer be able to reach me. I has been blocked. If you can't leave a message then you obviously don't need to reach me.
