They keep calling me from this number about five times a day.

This number calls my home number starting at 8 am, I'm pissed. They cannot be blocked or traced! Who are they????

Now I'm stalking them!! Lol, I finally was able to get the number I called & gave them a blessing for calling me at 8 am & they said they were looking for someone I don't even know???? I'll see what happens.... Stalking the stalker!!!

They call 3 times a day and leave no message. Its been going on for nearly 2 months.

It is DirecTv.  It is in your best interest not to answer.  When you answer the call, they are given your personal info (name, phone number(s), bank account info., and they will try to take money out of your bank account without your permission or knowledge.  I would cover my butt and contact your bank and tell them not to accept any payments through DirecTv without your say-so.    This almost happened to me.  It is illegal for them to do this, and they are in a lawsuit because of it.  BE CAREFUL!!!!

They call me on average about 5-6 times a day and never leave a message. My husband answered once and got a machine that said they were CCP. Who in the world is CCP?!

No message - no person, often rings off after being answered.

If you have Google Android on your cell phone (Moment, EVO, Droid, etc.) go to the Android marketplace and download a free app called "CallFilter" (without the quotes) and it will let you automatically block them from calling you. You can choose send straight to voicemail or completely block where they don't even get the chance to leave a message. You will never hear your phone ring again from them!

The caller does not stay on the line long enough to leave a message, but I did learn that he/she uses a land line, it is out of Clinton, IA, and the caller is 45 years old.

This number is for CBE Group. It's a collections agency. They are used by DirecTV for collections. I am sure other companies use them too. But I know for a fact DirecTV uses them.'

These guys commonly use 2 numbers. (319) 242-7342 or (678) 331-7211. or something close to these...

Just set them to a silent ringer like I do :P

I don't care what the liar said on your answering machine. This is CBE group. They primarily handle DirecTV collections.

Number called me today- CBE Group.  They are a collection agency they called my cell phone...

They just started calling me today, twice already today. What the heck...I don't even have DirectTV. Thankfully I haven't answered yet but if I do I will let them have it. This is just wrong.

they start calling at 6 in the morning and through out the day some times as late as 12am but never leave a message and i dont answer calls from people i dont know. I wish this would stop.
