    Luxman Trading Concepts SCAM

This company is bullshiz and claims 7% gains per month in investment returns.  I wasn't born yesterday- If I made 7% a month I would never need to solicit public money.  Company is called Luxman Trading Concepts.  People involved in the company (not sure if they use their real names) are:
Andy Luxman, James Kennedy, Oscar Stone, Alan Gardner.  The companys has a listed phone number of 866-924-3617.   BEWARE!!!!!

According to the person I was talking to on phone, they charge a one time fee of $7,000.00 and have a return of approximately a 40% gain each month using their system of trading the e-mini. They want $2500.00 minimum trading capital plus $199.00 per month towards their $7000.00 lifetime. At the end of seven months you have a guaranteed return of your administrative fees if you haven't made $1000.00 per month from their automated system. Sounds too good to be true, probably it is too good.

Have received numerous calls from this company...even after telling them that I no longer have any interest in trading or the stock market. Have asked them to stop calling, but it only lasts about 2 weeks and then they're calling again.

    Luxman Trading Concepts (Revised)
It may have been slightly harsh to use the word "Scam" on my previous Luxman posting name- but that is just my own personal opinion. Disclosure.

I too have had several sales calls from this company.  However, they gave me a a little twist.  They said they would sell me the above mentioned system for 6k and drop the annual fee in exchange for a testimonial in 7 months.  They asked me if would buy the system the day that they called, and I said, "Absolutely not.  I need to check the BBB and the SEC."  They said they would send me all the documentation of their trading record and call me in a few days.  Never heard from them.  They also told me about a 40% monthly return potential too.

I succumbed to these guys high pressure selling techniques back in June 2008.  Put up my $6000 - because hey after all it was guaranteed.  Every month lost money until the account was too low to trade.  So I waited for the guarantee to kick in.  The contract stated it was automatic with the system I traded (later systems made you request the refund). So not wanting to take a chance: TWO certified letters were sent one after the 6th month and one after the 7th month - followed by several phone calls all to request the refund. Each time I called them they said they were processing the refund and I should receive it soon.

I filed a complaint with the BBB (since they use their unblemished record with them as one of their selling arguments).  They responded to it stating that the refund will be sent in a few days.  A few weeks went by and still nothing.  Their BBB rating is now an 'F'. Its been almost five months since my initial request for refund and nothing.  I am going to get my attorney involved now.

These guys are a scam, don't be taken.

I have the same experience as Joe.  It is now two months.  Wish someone had posted this sooner.

    Don't give them anything.

I traded the Luxman Gamma system for a while.  Actually, the long trades were mostly winners, but the short trades were all big losers.  I stopped trading and am waiting for the guarantee period to run it's course, but from what I see here, there is not much hope of ever collecting.  The legal route might work, but at what cost?

Checked BBB and they show that of 7 complaints, Luxman made a full refund to 6 and a partial refund to 1, so maybe it is not so hopeless after all.

I am in the same boat with Joe and RiledUp. I traded on the Freedom system and actually did good initially, however had a number of losing trades back to back that wiped out all my profit and then ate into my seed money.  I suspended trading and have not seen the system trade since May.  My 7 months is up in September and I will be filing for the refund as well.  I would consider participating in a class action lawsuit if they do not satisfy the guarantee.

I wish  that I had read these accounts before I subscribed to their Freedom S&P E-Mini System.  I can't believe their record of all the successful trades for 2 years and then using the same system make so many bad trades.
Having been diagnosed with cancer and having had two surgeries I didn't feel like I needed all the stress involved I closed my account and requested a refund of the $6000. I have been calling James Kennedy, Ward Thompson, and Alan Gardner for several weeks, they have always been "on the phone" or not available, I have left multiple messages but none of them have ever returned my calls.

several of us seem to be in the same situation of not having received our initial investment refund when the system did not return a profit.  I think we should do something to band together and get this Ponzi scheme investigated.  I also wonder if they have some sort of kickback coming to them from the investment house that does all the trades for them.  My contract says I can't put in a class action but I'm sure our wives or children, who have also been hurt by this loss of capital, could go forward with a class action.  Where do we start - this rip off should not be allowed to continue.

Sounds like they may have another number if not many. Got the same type of call. Told them i wasn't interested. He got defensive with me and try to put on the big sell. Seems like a big Scam

I was swindled too. The Marina del Rey address is a UPS Store. The 323 numbers have been mostly disconnected and the 2-3 toll-free numbers have a recording.

My attorneys advised me to first file a complaint with the California State Attorney General's office, investments and Securities division. By the way, as of today 10/20/09, this office has no record whatsoever of Luxman Trading nor of any complaints filed against it. Let's change that!

    Download the complaint form from

    http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general/investment_securities.php

Send in a copy of all the documents you have from Luxman and include the names of everybody you talked to.

And that about not filing a class action suit because the contract says so....consult with an attorney about this. It depends on many factors.

Can not beleive I was so dumb & gullible to let Ward Thompson pressure me into this thing without checking it out.  My experience is the sam as, "Joe The Investor". Paid $6,000., during the 6 month period there were 2 small winners & all the rest were losers. My 6 months were up on November 8, 2009 & I sent them a fax request along with certified letter requesting refund & repeated this after the 7th month as required by their agreement. I began calling last week at 866-924-3617, Jack Harris answerd the phone on two occasions but James Kennedy or Ward Thompson are always on the phone or in a training sessionbut will return my call, so far I have received no return phone calls. I think we should stick together on this & look into the class action.

My subscription began 4/2009. I sent in the first refund request in Oct 09 and 2nd refund request Nov 09...Jack Lewis stated James Kennedy is honoring the refund request...a check for $3000 being sent late Nov/early Dec 2009.  No check arrived.

I contacted Luxman....my calls are no longer answered. Jack Lewis is very polite, and seeming a decent man.
However, Andy Lux, James Kennedy...need the law to judge this matter.
They have payroll? If they get a paycheck, we must get a refund?

Who is ready to start a lawsuit with me?

Re Luxman refund: I just sent them a Certified letter indicating that committing fraud transcends the legal protection of a corporation and it becomes a federal and state crime. I indicated that if I don't receive a check from them within 2 weeks from the time they receive my letter I will report them to the US Attorney General and the California District Attorney. Will let you know the results.

I invested in their e-mini last March and it went positive for a month then lost as the market recovered the rest of 09. I called in October and inquired what they needed from me to make my refund claim. They stated an email which they never replied or acknowledged. I then actually spoke with James and he said my refund would be processed in November as that was my 7th month. He can't count as October was number 7. Eitherway I have hounded and even threatened to report them. I no longer am threatening after seeing all the people who have been take. The CA AG needs to have all send their story and docs to them, next is FINRA. It appears the no one from Luxman is registered and frnakly they need to be so that will bring in the SEC to stop their business. Next I would go to your credit card and file a charge back to recover the monies from your credit card. Manybe if enough people file in all these places action will be taken. Sadly I did check the CA BBB and other sites and no complaints were filed back in March of 2009. Now there are over 56 and only 9 have gotten resolved.

The severity of this type of swindle is unbelievable.  They stole $6,000 from me and will not return calls or emails - even after the 6 months of losing even more from my trading accounts.  I want my money back!  I am filing a complaint with the State of CA - Business Transportation and Housing Agency and will be looking into filing a civil suit locally.  I will also check with my credit card company and hope that something can be done.  I want to contact the news media to warn others. If you guys do anything jointly to go after these thieves contact me at this site.  I will check back periodically as I muddle through the process of retrieval.
