I received a call from 325-573-8668 today, my daughter also got a call from the same number at the same time I did.

It called me i didn't  answer so i called it back it said that number has been disconnected

I got a call from this number and said they were trying to sell me a home securtiy sytem. When I redilled the number the number has been disconnected. It must be a scam,

This number called my cell phone and my number is only given out to people I know.  I see that there are many comments about the number.

This number keeps calling me it is from Abilene Tex where I lived more than 5yrs ago.  They call at 3:00 AM. 3 nights in a row.  I have turned the phone off

Just got a call from them trying to give me a free $1,500 toward a new security system.  My husband got the same call from a different number.

did not answer they left a recorded message sales scam about police fire service or some such

missed the call from this number, when I called back it was disconnected

I got callde by that number but something went wrong and the call endid early

Second phone call from this number...missed call. My work phone and it's on the do not call list....someone's breaking the law.

Called and I didn't answer due to not recognizing the number. Left a voice mail and said something about put a security sign in my yard. I live in the country and two big dogs and 9mm are my security.

i have gotten a phone call from this number two days in a row i don't know who it is ,but i have set this number on my reject call list on my phone. i have tried calling it back and the number has been disconnected, but they leave a message and its for a security system and we can receive a $1500.00 discount.

Just got a call from this number. Showed up on my screen as incoming call but, phone did not actually tone. No message was left.

Got a call from this number this afternoon.  I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.  I'm not wasting any time.  I'll add to my blocked callers now.

Automated call offering a free home security system in exchange for placing a sign in your front yard.  The automated message asks that you press one to speak with a representative or press 2 to be placed on their do not call list.  The automated message did not mention the company name offering the free system and I did not press 1 to speak with them.  Spam call.

They might be if they're calling your cell phone with a pre-recorded message and you didn't give the company permission to do so.

 Telephone Consumer Protection Act, (TCPA)
47 U.S.C. 227(b)(1)(A)(iii) prohibits calling cell phones (whether the call is from a live or a recorded message).

(b) Restrictions on use of automated telephone equipment
(1) Prohibitions
It shall be unlawful for any person within the United States, or any person outside the United States if the recipient is within the United States—
(A) to make any call (other than a call made for emergency purposes or made with the prior express consent of the called party) using any automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice—
(i) to any emergency telephone line (including any “911” line and any emergency line of a hospital, medical physician or service office, health care facility, poison control center, or fire protection or law enforcement agency);
(ii) to the telephone line of any guest room or patient room of a hospital, health care facility, elderly home, or similar establishment; or
(iii) to any telephone number assigned to a paging service, cellular telephone service, specialized mobile radio service, or other radio common carrier service, or any service for which the called party is charged for the call

47 U.S.C. 227(b)(1)(B) prohibits calling landlines or cell phones with a recorded message unless the company calling has a business relationship with the recipient.
47 U.S.C. 227(b)(3) provides consumers harmed by violations of the TCPA with the right to sue the violator for $500 per violation. If the violator knowingly broke the law, the court can order them to pay up to triple damages.
Rules and Regulations Implementing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act
47 C.F.R. 64.1200(b)(1) requires that recorded messages state the identity of the business responsible for the call at the beginning, and 64.1200(b) requires that they state the telephone number of the business during the call.
47 C.F.R. 64.1200(c)(2) prohibits calling any number on the national Do Not Call list.
Rules and Regulations Implementing the Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act
16 C.F.R 310.4(b)(iii)(A) prohibits calling anybody who has previously asked not to be called.

And if they call a landline and you answer & cannot hang up and free up your line until their recorded spiel is over & your landline is in Texas; $3000 fine.
