Got a call at my work. I know I owe a lot of money and am in trouble with the law a lot but this was a super scam.

Just got the same stupid call, pressed 9 to speak to someone and then was hung up on. Seriously! A restraining order for what?

I got the exact same message.

I just received the same automated call on my cell phone. I want to report this scam - if there is a restraining order against you regarding a complaint they are obligated by law to send a summons in the mail!!! These people need to be prosecuted to stop these tactics!!

I got the same message today at my job on my personal line. It kind of freaked me out until I googled the number and came across all these sites with people with the same complaint and same call. Scammers are getting out of control and this needs to be stopped. I can't believe they have my full name and work phone number, thats just WAY to personal!!!!

I have been receiving these calls on and off for a few years.  If you happen to talk to them, ask them for their information, company, their name, supervisors name, phone number, etc and let them know you are reporting them to the authorities for the scam and harassment.  When I did this they wouldn't give me any information, called me stupid and hung up.  It is several months between calls.  I also do not tell them who they are speaking with, only the phone number that they called.  I have repeatedly asked them for written verification of the debt and they refuse to send any, showing it is a total scam!  Especially since I know I don't owe anyone for anything.

Received the same message a least 3 times a week.  If you are a debt collector why you can't say what company you are calling from and stop therating people that not going to make them pay, phone number 770-982-3278

Hey I just got a message on my voice that said I have 4 hours to call or they will be garnishing my wages also. And It is a restraining order on me.  I know I have a lot of bills but I have maid arraingements. I called the number back because I wanted to see who I owed money. I have gotten calls for a number of years from people like them so I should have thought not another scam but I guess it sound so real. When I called back the mail box was full.  I got this feeling after I called back that maybe I should punch the phone number in on this website and see iff any one else had the same problem.  It looks like I was right. well I am not going to pick up the phone now that I know that it was another one of those scams. i going to file a report.

Got an automated message on my cell after ignoring two calls from an unknown/blocked number. It was a male's voice trying to give the impression that he was from a law firm and that I only had 4 hours to respond due to a complaint filed against me and that there was a chance I would need to appear in court. If I didn't respond, they would contact my job for verification of employment and garnish my wages. Also in the message was the 'fact' that a restraining order was put up against me.

If any one else gets a message that is identical or similar to this, I wouldn't stress it, especially if you haven't done anything that would even warrant such a call to be made to you. Just wish there was a way to get rid of this scammers/solicitors for good...

i got the same automatic call 13302057460. called them back voice mail box? full cant except callers. i reported a scammer 2 months ago and going to report this one to the sherriff, fbi, and if anyone else knows of anything i would appreciate feedback. i am done too!

I received the same message from these so called people. Does anyone know who they are?? I have to admit it scared me at first, then I thought if there were legal action against me , wouldnt I have received some legal paper work? I'm sure it is a scam.

Got a vm on 11/12 stating same and to call 330-205-7460.....then got another call 11/14 stating same with a different number of 202-417-2021.

I got the message about a restraining order.  I knew it was a scam because I am not that kind of person who would warrant a restraining order, but it stressed out my uncle and that was bad.

I received a message from this number stating the same thing everyone else has described.  It wasn't even for e but for a prior person who may have owned the number I have at 1 time. You cannot call back or leave a message.  I forwarded the vm to my boyfriend who IS a lawyer and he informed me it is a scam.  Can they somehow hack into your phone or information if you call them back?

stop to badgering people we already have stress from this economy, and bad management of this country.

Received a call to cell (number was "blocked") but left this number as call back #. Same scenario as l above, same message, same threats, all BS, and all illegal.  If they had half a brain cell they would know wage garnishments aren't even possible in the state I reside in ( and many others). If calling your cell, download the free app "Mr. Number" to your smart phone. You can direct the app to either hang up or send these types of calls to your voicemail (also blocks unwanted texts).  Works on various types of smart phone operating systems...Apple, Android, etc.  If they reach you at work, Do not admit to anything but simply state immediately they are being recorded and it is illegal to contact you at work after being told to cease and desist (this method at times requires a rather loud voice because they will make every attempt to talk over you).  Trouble is, these scumbags typically close their doors 1 step ahead of the law, then pop them back open under new name and start all over again so the lawsuit route generally is a wasted effort. Try the app, works like a charm...they can dial themselves stupid, but never get through!
