They start calling my cell phone at 5:30 in the morning EST.  I get at least 8-12 calles a day.  I dont even have any credit cards, and when I finally did get a live person they were rude.  They informed me that I must owe them because they had my number.  They could not provide me with what company, account number, or amount.  I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau in our area and in the calling area they are from.

They have been calling my cell for over 2 months now, They have left 2 messages about being from GE MONEY and LOWES and that I have to call them back. about an account. I have never done any business with either of these business. My cell is on the do not call list. I have no clue how they have gotten it.

They call twice a day, never leave a message. Sick and tired of these people.

Basic politeness is a term that debt collectors don't understand.  Their tactics are strictly humiliate you to get you to break down and pay them rather than who you owe.  If you pay the collector they get to keep a percentage of what they collect. I never deal with collectors only with those who I owe.  Debt collection companies or the arm of the, in this case GE Money, are persona non grata.

These people call my cell and house 4 times a day and when you call back they are Lowe's.  I don't have a credit card with Lowes. Who are these jerks?

at least some of you get to "talk" to someone.  when i answer the phone a recording says something to the effect that this call is important and someone will be right with you to please hold on.  when i hear that i hang up.  if you are not ready to speak to me when i answer the phone, then don't call!  then about 2 minutes later they call again and when i answer THEY hang up, as if to say, if you hang up on me then i'll hang up on you.  really is annoying.

Must be GE MONEY again, calls up tp 7 times a day, rude people. Lowes and Care credit both are thru  this company. They don't carry if you get laid off for 4 months and the State does not pay you. They placed use on a hardship program for 6 months now they are asking for 4 payments to be made up at once. Will only speak to spouse since I'm not on the acct. This number calls me at least five times a day and just like everyone else is saying...they dont answer when I pick up....this is getting quite ridiculous cus it says it's from a Lowe's credit card or something and I've never even stepped foot into a Lowe's...

This number has been calling me nonstop, as well as 2 others from GE Money Bank. I owe no one money and have never had any of the cards they call for.   I have been answering but no one is ever on the other end. Finally, today someone with a thick Indian accent answered asking for someone I have never heard of.  I demanded that my number be taken off the list and he said he would. We'll see.-- keep answering the phone, eventually someone picks up!

this number is  failure ney bank, they are calling you because you now have bad credit due to your failure to pay back the money you borrowed from paypal.com. lol

I keep getting calls from these ppl also.I've only recently added a cable phone to my bundle (I still don't have a hand set to with it, I bundled to reduce my cable bill), but they are calling my new number anyway. Purely computer generated.

I do have an open account with them, but it was payed off years ago.

They constantly call us about an Lowe's bill. We don't have a Lowe's account- paid off 3 months ago. A person with a thick Indian accent is on the other end and I refuse to speak to them and request a person here in the states- I did speak with someone at Lowe's and they have no idea why they keep calling. Very disturbing. Now we don't answer the calls.

Its a bill collector.  Pay your bill and the calls will stop.

I don't know who these people are with but its always an Iranian and they never tell me who they are with. They call 5-10 times a day

Someone from this number calls me then hangs up when I answer, it's getting very annoying!
