The DNC list does no good with these calls.  They are robo calls.  The numbers are dialed in sequence by a machine.  I have found that adding the number to my contacts, calling it 'junk' or 'spam' and assigning it a 'no ring' ringtone takes care of it.  If you can't choose 'no ring', choose the shortest and the quietest ring you have and you probably won't hear it at all.  Works well for me.  This number was just assigned a 'no ring' ringtone.

Keeps calling but will not leave voice message. I don't return calls, if they don't leave a message regarding the call.

Recently, I put my information on a Webpage to get automated Automobile Insurance quotes.  I thought i would just receive them in my E-Mail, but no, I have been getting phone calls from all over the place.

I think they are trying to sell you insurance

This number calls.  If you answer it just hangs up.  If you call back it just hangs up.
I get hundreds of these a week.  WTH

Called land line and I answered. "Hello". Instant responce was an electronic voice stating "Goodbye" and immediately disconnected. My immediate thought was Ñ$Ã and voice recognition. Theory is the Ñ$Ã keeps voice print records so they can have accountability of their citizens whereabouts at given interval. This presents a problem of the need of large volumes of memory for storage of the world's population ( I'm sure they've been tapping the phone lines since wwii), would require 100's of  1,000's of gig I'm guessing it would take on a given day. But, since the first gigabyte hard drive existed in the early 50's, not post millennium which is when it became small enough for public consumer use, the problems of mass storage needs were a reality in the 1980's. Yes big brother is watching us.

Have a call from this twice already. As usual I don't answer if I don't know who's  calling .

Seems I'm on all the nuts in America's listings. I get several calls all day from different numbers and I don't have a clue who any of them are. This is one of them. Something should be done about this. It's getting worse everyday.

has anyone in your household filed papers with your beloved court house, or, perhaps done work as a process server where you are required to put down your phone number?   There are people out there scanning court documents since it it "public" information.  Watch out!

We need to do the same to them that they do to us.  I have decided to pick up the phone, say nothing and hang up.  Very simple, pick up - hang up!

I also got called from 208.549.7876 today, but didn't answer any- was busy when the calls came through.
I just called this one back, and there was a message claiming to be from Power 101 internet radio, and that I had won a Caribbean Cruise.  They wanted to me to press 1 to confirm I was over 18, but I pressed 0 hoping to get someone.  I was disconnected instead.
