This man called my mother stating he was an officer and she was in trouble for loan fraud and check fraud and told her to take care of this matter today and pay the full amount or he would take her to court. She called wanting me to call the number to see what they were talking about and when I did it was like a home answering machine and to leave a message, this man claimed to be Officer John Walker. Told my mother that she would be arrested if this matter was not taking care of, I then decided to Google the number and found all this.... My mother is so upset she has a lot of medical problems and is about to have a panic attack, this man should not be able to continue to do this.....He has all of her info SS# and all

Just got a call from an Officer John Walker from the FTC with 3 complaints against me and my social security number.  I wish these people could be stopped.  Funny thing is he left me 2 messages.  The first one he said my name and then started laughing with some people in the background and then hung up.  Then he called again stating who he was.  Really!  If this was for real would you really call and start laughing like crazy?!?!

I am glad that I typed this number in the internet because some Indian guy named John Wayne is calling my cell phone and leaving messages telling me that there is a complaint regarding my social security number and to have my attorney or myself call back.  This seemed suspicous from the get go.  I returned the call and left a message.  I am nervous now because if these guys are frauds; I really hope they do not use my social security number in any way, shape, or form.  I will call the police if I have to.

This sounds similar to my situation, except the officer's name was John Wayne, but he had an Indian accent.  I just left a message for him to call me back.  This seemed suspicious to me from the get go.  I am glad I typed this number in the internet and found all of this.

fake company! I called "officer" Thompson, he told me that i had charges on my ssn and three counts of fraud. i then explained their company was a fraud and he threatened my job and i would be in jail. i have called back many times to mess with them but it keeps going to a answering machine. you can't commit fraud if you don't take money. Also, not to sound racist, but Indians aren't named Aaron or john. its hilarious

Yes I received the same message continuing to call harrassing me and stating he is office John Walker calling from The Federal Trade Commission.Says if I don't call him or my attorney I will have problems. Something about fraud. Stumbling over his words. Has left several messages on my voice mail which I have forwarded for the police. I find it unpleasant since I have already been scammed by these people in the past. About ruined my life. Number 347-441-5990, also calling unknown.

Received a call this morning form that number listed below. When I listened to the message it told me I was involved in some serious loan fraud from USACash Loans and all is subsidiary companies. I called it back and they said that they were trying to help me solve the case out of court for the thousands of dollars I received in payday loans and cash advances, claiming I was being fraudulent. They said that if I had no intentions of paying back the money I was going to have to go to the courts and get the situation settled. When I told him that I had never received a loan the speaker Robert had gotten all upset and then stated that I would have to go to court and possibly to jail. He told me I may have thought them to be spam and deleted the messages. He then read off my social security number.  I told him I was going to conduct my own investigation and figure this out.Then told me to have a blessed day

I also got the same type of call. He would not answer any of my questions and told me to be quite and listen. I told him I would call him when I got off work and I would have to time argue with him. Have not heard since. Very pushy, demanding and insisting I owed money and needed an attorney.

Yes they are scammers and it is illegal for them to represent themselves as government employees.  If they were representing the government there is almost 100 % that it would be a 202 number.  All of them would not be of one ethnicity AND when you called back the recording would definitely reflect itself as a government institution.

Just left them a nice message with my name and phone number stating that if they continue to harrass me I will send the recording to FTC.  Let's see how many more calls I receive.

I just received a call from (347)-441-5990 from New York today threatening me that I need to take care of alot of complaints on my online loans (which I do not have any) and bad checks, fraud, insufficent funds on my American Express Card which I do not use. I could not get the name of the person or company because they are very hard to understand. I told the caller I was going to report them to the police and the call turned into a sex call. My husband took the call from there.

A 'Federal Officer ' has called me numerous times  from this number 347-441-5990 claiming to be with the FTC. He said that I had taken out a loan this year from a pay day cash company cashnetusa and have defaulted on my loan repayments. This 'Officer' had said that I had scheduled payments with my bank and that I had insufficient funds upon their withdraw attempts. When I had asked the date, wire number, and amount defaulted on he refused to specify unless I stated that I would agree to repayment.
This man had a thick Indian accent and was very rude. I had said that I had not taken out a loan and was currently being investigated by the IRS and SS administration because my identity was stolen earlier on this year. I had relayed that I had taken all steps advised by IRS, SS, Credit Unions and my bank and if this were in fact true, I had not received any mail indicating that I had defaulted or even had a loan outstanding and was unaware of any of this fradulent activity.

I had requested that they send me formal documentation and I would take any steps necessary to rectify this issue, especially being that someone had stolen my identity. This 'Federal Officer ' then starting using profanity and said that I was going to be arrested at work and he was calling the police right that minute. I had requested numerous times to get something in writing, more information, mailed to me and he again refused and then again claimed he was sending police to my job and hung up on me. I was absolutely dubmfounded. I then called the FTC, and FDIC as well as my bank. The FTC and FDIC had NO records of any such case against me and hadnt even had my information. My bank had said that I hadnt even Overdrafted in 6 months, let alone received any pay day loan deposits from them.

I just conducted an internet search and found this site. I cannot believe these people have not been stopped. This is harrasment and serious fraud.

I have received the same type of phone call on a daily basic . Threats were made about committing fraud     same help they offer by settling this out of court. Name of person is Robert and was getting upset when I ask questions concerning this matter and where is the paperwork to support his claim. There is always a paper trail or you should receive notification other than a phone call, and a phone number to speak to his supervisor or the company he is representing.

I just got this same call stating that I have very serious allegations against my name and social security number. That I took out a pay day loan, and I MUST pay back the money that I took. He said he had my license and signature that was done at a western union. I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER used a western union before in my life. I am going to go to my police department and file a complaint with them.

this individual with Indian accent claims to be state bureau investigator, just the other day he called from another magic jack number cursing me for asking specific questions. I called the police and will make a formal complaint. What a joke i just let him talk and it was all lies, he claims i have fraudulent checks and identity issues with my Social Security number. He was trying to make scared said a sheriff will be showing up at my job in 20 minutes to arrest me. How sad, and pathetic. But he needs to be caught and have his ability to use any social media revoked
