says she is Christine Wilson, certified technician for Microsoft, calling from "My Windows support". She says hackers are trying to gain access to my computer through my browsing or emails. She wants me to sit in front of PC & she will direct me what to do to my PC.

Guy tried real hard to get me to pay for a protection on my ip and then I refused to give up my card number he finally gave  up.

Received same computer attack call this morning.  Obvious scam.  Reported to Micorsoft.  Why has this idiot been able to get away with this for so long.  Based on the information in this blog, it has been a year at least.  Where is the FBI or Microsoft.  

I received one this morning from the same number.   My wife talked to this man for almost an hour supplying him with computer style info.  He stated that my computer will soon crash and needed better security.  He wanted to sell me one of two plans, one for $200 for two years, and the other for $150 for one year.  He started to give my wife a hard time, and I notice that my computer had a black screen with a photo showing windows Xperia startup password that stated what I would need in order to start up.  This jerk put his own windows Xp startup password  after deleting the one that was put there after computer was bought.  I told Buddha to give me that password, and he stated that he couldn't until I purchase his plan.  I said no way, and he hung up leaving me with a computer that I can't use,  I am furious that this happen, and if I had him here .............

Caller became very irrate when I would not listen to their instructions to access my internet. Very heavy Indian accent. Said they worked for Windows. Gave me the number 3474802300 to call back when I wasn't so busy.

I just got the same call from "Mark Wilson" from New York.  Is there a place these calls should be reported to?

Somebody  call me from that number claiming that they  were costumer support for Windows. He tryed to acces my computer remotly but I felt afraid and I TURN of my computer and disconet the call. Be carefull with that kind of calls.

Got the same call as everyone else on this site.  Indian accented man named "Ron McGuire" said that he was from My Windows Support and my computer was downloading information.  He wanted to fix this.  Got this same number from him.
347-480-2300.  However the number on my Caller ID was simply 1.  You KNOW it's a scam when you get a totally fake Caller ID number.  Wish these calls would stop.  This is my fourth this week.

I received a phone call last evening from phone number 347-480-2300 they said that they were from window support department in Brooklyn New York and they were telling us that we were getting error reports of malware and that hackers were trying to get into my computer. They wanted me to give them permission to log into my computer and research and fix the problem we were very suspicious told them that we were not interested and that we were going to be contacting our own computer technician who would work on the problem and that if we had other questions that we would contact them. Who do we contact to report this problem? Not everyone is as savvy and suspicious as we are and may fall prey to these crooks!

This guy is definitely a scammer . He has phoned me at least 4 times this year, Aug. 28/14 & Oct 29/14 is the  recent call that we got. This guy has probably phoned us in the last 3 years, 3 to 4 times a year and we keep telling he is a scammer but does not give up. The last time he called he finally gave us a number in which we could call him back . The number that he gave us was 347-480-2300 . I have called him with phoning him through gmail not my own number. He has answered with several different company names . He has gone by various names also such as the latest Brad , Wayne, Eric. This guy does not seem to get the hint that Microsoft never calls you.  If your reading this DO NOT fall for this guy by letting have access to your computer if you have one.

I received a call tonight from these people also - woman with heavy accent saying she was calling from Technical Support of My Windows and they had been notified that my computer was at high risk.  They wanted me to push a bunch of buttons, etcl., on my keyboard - thankfully I did not and they finally hung up!

Received several calls and call backs from this number.  Said they "had detected viruses on my computer and were calling to help".  I had no PC problems and had asked no one for help.

literally just got off the phone with an Indian guy named "Michael Williams" who's accent was as think as a bowl of oatmeal, he tried to sell be some [***] "technician support for life". I triedto ask him how much it was, but he just kept asking if I wanted it.

Received message - East Indian - refund of $200 due me. Caller woke me up at 5:45 am. Asked him to call back later.
he called back and I asked for his number as I would be busy for a few minutes - okay. I Googled the number and here I  am. Scammed again !!
