I was awakened by a phone call from this number asking for "Debra".  Told the lady she called a wrong number, but she proceeded to call back 4 more times ~ how do I make this stop?!

this guy offered a apartment on Craig's list complerte with pictures and details and claimed he was going out of the country for 6 months and wanted to sub-let this beautiful apartment in downtown Boston.  He claimed he was in Qubec Canada on business and was comming in on such and such a day to meet with potential clients. My daughter visited the place and loved the area and a 6 month sublet would be perfect. She called this guy, Ouhadi, who said if she wanted to hold this apartment she should wire $400.  She did, he never showed, the apartment manager never heard of him.  Reported this incident to Boston Police fraud dept.  Good by $400

We recieved a call from this number also and almost went through with it. Lucky my cousins a lawyer and and found tons of information on these guys. Peter Weiss is a fraud and scam artist and so is Hartland Financial. Do not use these people. Its a joke. He fed me some bull about that phone number is just a voice over that tons of people use. I dont buy it and neither should you guys. I am filing complaints with the bbb, fbi, and anyone else I can find.

I just found out that this number is a general VOIP number that companies use to make long distance calls. Any number of businesses might be using this system. Some, I am sure are scmas, but not all. You have to do your due dilligence about the specific company you're deling with. This number alone showing up on your call display does not mean the company is illigitimate.

Appreciate the info Paul. This VOIP number can have many different Company names listed and changed at will. When I stopped accepting his calls, he just changed the Company name to the Company Name that I work for. When I asked him about this change, he said he wasnt sure why that happened. I have gotten 5 calls from this number all with different company names.

Although Paul is correct, I caution everyone to scrutinize anyone using this number before you do business with them.

my friend and i were terribly scammed by these scum bags. When he got my friend he was calling his co. Bridgenorth lending out of canada.
i have a good feeling that these are all the same guys using different names and companys. I loaned my friend 1900 for so called "insurance" to cover the loan. I had never got a loan at the time i was only 18 and didnt know anything about it, i was just trying to help out a friend. Anyways,that day, it wasnt, we requested a refund, never came and now the number after we sent the payments, the money was supposed to be in his bank acct. now the # dont work, and the website doesnt exist. We called many lawyers and i called the police, no help. IF ANYONE FINDS ANY HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW. American Loan Advantage out of Willmington DE, promised my daughter 3000.00 and of course needed money for different reasons, we got in over our heads and they talk so smooth, what a hard way to learn think you are getting help and end up loosing 1200.00 when you did not have it to start with, and now life has more problems with less money. why me

They called my cell phone, but I did not answer as I did not recognize the number, tried to call back but busy tone, so decided to google it. Thank God for this site, I now know that it is a scam. Thank you so much. Hope more people check it out before sending any money.

I got a call from this number, my husband answered the phone. He knew something was up because he immediately asked who was calling and for what?...The female caller got spooked and said " I don't think I have the right number " and hung up. My husband took the number from the call display and traced it back to this site. SO THANK YOU THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL!!!!!!

They are now going by a company called Benneu Financial Services. Their phone number is also 877-770-8012. Michelle Davis is her name. Do Not send them any money or give them any information!!!!!

I just started getting the calls the other day...havent answered cause the area code looked strange..so I looked it up and bam...here is the scam.... I'm not trying to be rude but I'd like to ask why would any of you send money to a financial loan company? whether legit or not. if I'm applying for a loan I don't expect to send money to get money. just a thought. Anyways glad you all posted cause I didn't know who was calling. take care.

I was not so smart and sent the $450 to the company that is now called Center Point Services and he said his name is David Allen.  He was from a brokerage company that went between you and the loaner in Canada.   He promises that the money you send Western Union will not be taken for 72 hours, but not true, it was taken the same day.  You send the money to a David Stein in Canada.  Then when I told him I changed my mind which was the next day and I want to go and get the $450 that was suppose to be still on hold at Western Union and then he said that he was still verifying it and couldn't be picked up just yet, but of course the money was picked up. We need to stop all these scammers.

I got caught up in this scam, trying to save my home. I am out money, not only that I am going to lose my home. I also borrowed money, I owe those people.  Calvert Financial group, I found them under Edison Financial group
after alot of searching.These people need to be stopped, the names are the same on all the paperwork.

I cant believe how guliable you  people are , no one will offer to give you any loans , period , get it yet ? USA is own by China and Arab nations over 100% , each citizen owes like $250,000 because of the debt load your government has signed you up for and to pay with tax dollars , get it in your head yet ?

Person ask for a real first name

Got a call from the number tonight. The asked for me by name on my house line, which is odd because I do not give that number out, thought it is listed. They claimed to be calling from "PC2Cell, an authorized Bell Canada reseller". I told them to get lost but they seemed really shady. Have googles that company and others report calls but from different numbers always saying they are offering cell phone plans. Then they ask for almost every ID a person might have or that one would need to claim to be you.
