They tried twice today on my mobile. I didn't recognize the Nr and didn'r pick up

I had a call from Booking.com and it was a legitimate call. They were calling to let me know about an issue with one of the hotels I had booked in Spain. Booking.com also emailed me about the issue. I don't have any problem with this. It is good service. I have made many hotel bookings through booking.com and never had a problem.

Lijkt erop dat het een klantenservice nummer is van Booking.com Nederland.

This is the number of booking.com, the customer care. They call regarding a booking or a complaint you made

Caller phoned to say the hotel I booked in Italy through Booking.com had charged my credit card twice. He wanted to know bank details to credit me back the overpayment. I said email me - nothing received so far. I wonder why? The call was from Barcelona. Definitely a scam.

Caller called at 12.56 on 31st Jan. 2017, but when I answered, there was no one there, so I hung up, as I didn't recognise the number.
