OK - remember you are responding to a post from 2018. I only advised caution, mostly since scammers in the USA commonly 'spoof' numbers for Microsoft and Apple. Caution is much better than having to deal with ID Theft.

I just got a call from this number after i ordered products, also i had requested developer program ealier in day. Dont want to answer as why would Apple need to phone me?

It’s not the actual Apple helpline. They hacked a website so they know when you have scheduled a call and then they pretend to be Apple. I had them call but I declined and then Apple actually rung me.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Apple (it definitely wasn’t) after an email from ‘UPS’ about an Apple order. Definitely a scam from the Apple website.

It’s definitely Apple Support, I’m talking to them now on it.

I see too many suspicious posts here claiming this is really Apple. I think this number is being spoofed by scammers, IF it really is an Apple number.

Phoned me 3 times in about 3 minutes, said they were from Apple. I just cut them off the 1st 2 times. Because I git another call they wanted me to press 1 (speak to an advisor) 2 (reschedule a callbm) 3 (cancel the callback) I pressed 3 to get rid of them.
