Received call from this number, left no message

Receive this call on my cell phone this morning.
Didn't answer the call.

I received a call from this number at 6:01 PM CST;  at 6:25 PM CST, my father, who lives across town, also was called from the same number.  I have already blocked 6 different numbers from the (360) 474- prefix, and evidently will now have 7 numbers blocked.  This is beyond ridiculous.  It is proof, to me, that big business in this country can get away with anything they want.
If I tried to make just ONE scam call, the Feds would hang my [***] -- and yet these robo-dialers can call me all hours, all days, to try and deceive me knowingly.

These scammers have been calling my cell phone for two months.  It's always the same phone message, but the number keeps changing.  They use multiple numbers, all located in Washington state (according to my caller ID):

The message is always the same.  They claim to be a political institute, and then they start talking about how I can win a cruise trip or something along those lines.

I also received three calls from Oregon and several from Californi;, I don't recall if those were the same scam but they may have been.  I'm in Houston, TX.  PLEASE STOP THESE SCAMMERS.  Thanks!

Bogus call.

they keep calling every number at our place. they never answer. when we call back, message in English accent says number temporarily not availabe.  All our numbers, landline and cell, are on DoNot Call List.  was not surprised to find so many others with same experience from same number. I wish the feds would put them out of business soon!

I received a call from this number today, June 27th. I let the answering machine pick it up but nobody was there. This is the second time in one day that my work was interrupted by scammers.

got a call from this # at 7:11 pm on my cell pho. sure I knew what to do to stop these unwanted calls.

i dont know  this person oe company but thiey call my cell phone all the time and just blew up my phone but when i call it back it tell me that the phone number is not working  at the time  my number is on the dont call list. they dont leave any meassage but i wantthem to stop call my number

Yeah, they must have moved on to the Toronto area. I've been getting them, too. I don't just don't pick up. God Bless whoever invented Call Display!!

Thanks for taking the time to post this useful information. Everyone please read that advice and report all the calls you receive to the FTC and the FCC. It only takes a few minutes on each agency website, and adds to the minimum volume of complaints that are needed to have one of these agencies take action.

As a side note, here are some more phone numbers that these scammers have used this year. But don't bother calling them, the scammers faked the caller ID and the numbers are either disconnected or belong to someone who is also a victim.

I have filed complaints with fcc many times.  they do nothing.  absolutely nothing.

Being harassed on cell phone and now home phone by 360-474-3942 for months now- daily/weekly - Sarah claims to represent political survey and/or independent survey - take 3 min survey get a free cruise to the Bahamas. They are out of Washington State; how is it the Attorney General WA State can't put a stop to this harassment let alone Gov. Do not call.

I receved call sfrom that nimber on June27 at 6:58, July 11, 2:27 and 8:12 and then one from 206 496 0960 on July 1 at 11:15. They do not identify themselves so I do not answer

They keep calling me daily, sometimes up to 10 times, I finally answered and I cussed the guy out who said was in Nigeria.......I was like excuse me, Nigeria?? And he said yes and cussed me out. Like who are these people and don't they have lives? Or nothing else to do? I blocked the number, hopefully eventually they'll get sick of getting hung up on stop calling me.

If this is your cell phone being randomly dialed, no problem.  There are many apps to blacklist calls that are dialing you.
