I got this call on my cell phone also.  I called it back and was told the poll was over. At the end of the messege you are given the choice to opt-out from further calls(which I did), and I was told my number was removed. I guess we'll see if thats true or not.

    not telling
I got a call on my cell today and on my land line, both are registered with Do Not Call.  My land line is unlisted.  The name on the caller ID showed Affordable Vacci.  I will be contacting my local media (slow news period here now that the state primary was today) and writing the Public Utility Commission in Texas about these calls.  If you have a similar agency in your state write them as well or maybe your attorney general.   I am tired of these calls.

surveys are allowed to call you...
The following are exceptions granted by existing laws and regulations - and these types of organizations CAN register with donotcall.gov and can purchase telephone lists from the Do Not Call Registry!!

A person may still receive calls from...

    political organizations.

    not-for-profit organizations.

    those conducting surveys.

an existing business relationship for up to 18 months after his or her last purchase, payment, or delivery from it, unless person specifically asks the company not to call again.

a company up to 31 days after submitting an application or inquiry to that company, unless the company is specifically asked not to call.

bill collectors (either primary creditors or collection agencies). These callers are, however, regulated by other laws, such as those limiting them to calling during "reasonable hours."

    Loopholes-
Some attempts have been made by telemarketers to skirt the do-not-call list rules. An example is the Dove Foundation which places "survey" calls and then requests permission for a follow-up call. The follow-up call is through a for-profit company attempting to sell products. This operation resulted in a restraining order in Missouri in March 2006

Appears to be a political survey and when you call the number back you get a message saying that the time has expired for you to take the survey. Whoever this is always calls me on my cell phone while I'm at work. Do what I did. Go to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and file a complaint. Enough people file a complaint on them and they will stop them.

    contact your state attorney general
I contacted the Texas Public Utility Commission about this number (see below).  The calls from various numbers interrupt my day  on both my land line and my cell phone so they are annoying and are beginning to border on harassing.  I won't erase the call log on my cell or the caller ID on my land line so I have a record of the calls.

Thank you for contacting the Public Utility Commission of Texas. The No Call list is intended for legitimate Telemarketers that are selling goods or services. If you find that you receive solicitation calls from telemarketers you may file a complaint. If the calls you are receiving are exempt from the No Call list(Debt Collectors, State Licensees, etc.) or are “scams” or harassing  you may contact the Attorney General of Texas at 1-800-621-0508 to file a complaint.

To file a No Call Complaint with the PUCT please provide the following information:

    ·         Your name, address, and telephone number
    ·          Telemarketers Name(if available) and telephone number
    ·         Date and Time of Calls
    No Call List FAQ’s- http://www.puc.state.tx.us/consumer/phone/Consumer_faq.aspx

Feel free to contact us if you have additional questions.
    Sincerely,

    Public Utility Commission of Texas

Associated Accounting Specialists Inc., William R. Page, Port Saint Lucie, Florida
Castle Rock Capital Management, Roy M. Cox, Laguna Niguel, California

Red Leaf Capital LLC, Leroy Castine, Mesa, Arizona

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

I find that I am getting great enjoyment by pressing 1 and talking to one of their "reps". I have a phony name, credit card number, and security code that I use. The only legitimate number that I give them is the customer service number from a credit card that I no longer use since the card raised my rates.
I try to ask the criminals as many questions as possibe to keep them on the phone as long as I can. The scammers seem to get upset once they finally figure out that THEY are getting scammed. I guess they think their time is more valuable than mine.

Same as everyone else who reported.  Got the call and saw it was from a scammer, so I didn't answer the call.  I too will be reporting this number to the DNC list.

I got a call from this number also and called her back.  I told her that I would report her and the agency to my state police.  I told her not to call my phone number back again.  Since then I have not had any calls come from her or the Providence company.
