I also received multiple calls from this phone number and also 3 others, same this is the irs, we are filling law suit, defrauding irs and government.  All had accents from what i heard from somewhere in africa, like nairobi, kenya.  Had more a french accent in their speech.  When i told them i heard not rec'd any mail regarding this, the comment back was it was through an audit from year "x" to year "x"
they also told me that if i didn't do what they said they had notified the "authorities" to arrest me in 3 hours, also talked about liens on my house, garnishing my pay, etc.  Gave me a case number for my court appearance.  The total i supposedly owed was $2000, wanted me to withdraw $750 from my bank today, i was to leave the caller on my cell phone with the line open and not discuss this with anyone otherwise they would have me arrested.  Reported this to police and when i went to bank the caller was still on phone and when i asked teller about  "irs scams" the caller said "hey i'm calling the authorities to have you arrested", i responded "good luck with that, you crooks" and hung up.
