Received two calls from this strange number today while I was asleep. Tried calling it back when I woke up only to get a message saying that the call could not be connected as I didn't have the correct prefix before it. Here in Ireland 4 digit phone numbers are generally used when the Emergency Services are dialling out from their stations so they aren't giving out private internal or direct line numbers. So unfortunately I still have no idea who called. Our directory services said that they don't have a record of the number but it appeared to be originating from a different country.

Can anybody shed some light on this? I'm presuming it is a scam.

Received a spam SMS from this number today advertising iPhone 5s (even though no such thing exists).  Clearly fraudulent.

i received a call from this number +3833 three different people...two females and one male...asking about if i want to join the green card lottery to usa as they are asking me for my CC and to pay in euros!!

i get a call from 3833 ..i don't know what it is...its seems like some caostumer care and then it bang ...

Got 5 messages from this number a few hours ago claiming to be Pay Pal and sending me PayPal code that expire in 10 minutes. Minutes later, many numbers starting with +49 called me many times.
