I am not a Telus customer. I told them to not call again.. Then this morning same number but this time from Microsoft that my computer has tracking programs on it and they are worried, when I questioned which computer and how did they know he was adamant but evasive, Said "you do not believe me" I said no and that he had no idea if I even had a computer!! DO NOT call; again but.... how does one stop these idiots?
" - SusanGet 5-6 calls a day from 3910. I don't answer and no message is ever left. Seriously considering getting rid of my home phone because of these annoying calls.
- m replies to DawnI got the same call - shows up as 3910 - they told me they were from at&T technical service and my internet was going to be disconnected because of a virus on my machine and they wanted me to go to the machine so they could tell me how to remove the infected files. yeah right! and very indian accent...gave me a bogus number which they claimed was in vancouver - 0261004275
- TomThese are the same scam artists that use to call and say they they were from the technical department of "Windows" or from Microsoft. I had one call and give me their line - I told them that I do not get internet from Telus and he said that Shaw gets their internet from Telus lol. They won't stop calling. I have reported them to the Canadian anti-fraud center operated by the RCMP and when they call, I simply tell them that I know it is a scam, that they are not from Telus, and that I have already reported them to the police. that seems to at least minimize the number of calls.
- Caller: Scam
- JudieI keep getting calls from 3910. Daily and sometimes more than one per day. How do I stop them?
- Caller: I think they said Telus
- LeeHi Gays, I had the same kind of call 10' ago, and I was really surprised about the content. The call was similar to the above, and they were telling me about hacking and being hacked. I have checked my Email with my phone and everything was fine. I don't know if it is anything we can do for stop that. The accent of the caller was some kind of Indian speaking, with a big noise in the background, similar to someone using the phone in a public place.
Anyway, is somebody could help for stop this annoying situation, that will be appreciate.- Caller: Telstra ??
- JayI got two calls from these guys as well. I told them that I also worked for AT&T, and asked them which office they worked out of. That curveball ended the call pretty quickly. During the first call, I told them that I was also disconnecting their service, because they told me first that they were disconnecting mine. That ended the call as well. Just get them off script and they won't bug you.
- JakeI just got a phone call from 3910 and they said they were from Verizon Wireless telling me that their "mother service" had been hacked and to check my computer for viruses. I told them that I live in an area that unfortunately doesn't carry Verizon as a provider and they transferred me to another person (sounded like they just handed over the phone) and they told me to check my computer. The phone call was disconnected soon after and since I am posting here obviously there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. From what I've read above it sounds like a scam. Is there any way that phone calls like this can be blocked so my wife/kids don't accidentally fall for this scam?
- Caller: Verizon Wireless Technicians
- Call type: Prank
- Christine replies to gilWell, they kept calling me and I kept not answering until eventually I gave in. She said she was from Telstra but I could hardly hear her. She told me to "shut down your music". I asked why, didn't she like it? and she said no, she didn't like it. I told her it was in Italian, it was Andrea Bocelli and she hung up on me! I think that says something about the type of person calling. Next time I'll try Metallica and see if she prefers that.
- DBThese people call 3 and 4 times a day. Today, I listened to the background before saying hello. You can hear several talking. When I finally said hello, they hung up. Idiots.
- Caller: Residential
- TTYes - I got a call from them today, except they were from COMCAST and they were going to help me. I asked them to skip the script and ask me what I should do. Of course they wanted me to be at my computer to loog onto a site. I told them I didn't have internet through COMCAST, adn they would know that if they were really from COMCAST. They also gave me a really cheesey account number when I asked for it. Of course they said they were just "technicians" and that is why the called ID is 3910 - they were here to help the malicious files that were being down loaded. I played with them for about 10mins - kinda fun!
- Caller: COMCAST
- YvonneReceived call today 1.20 pm unanswered.
- TristanPhone call from 3910 today, three times in a row. I answered the first time and they said it was Telus calling, and that someone had been hacking our internet and using our IP for illegal uses. He said that they were going to terminate our internet immediately unless I got on my computer right away. Since it sounded a little odd, I first asked him to verify something about me as a customer. I asked him for MY address, and it was completely off. I immediately hung up the phone, and it rang again almost immediately. I answered and the same man said "I want to tell you your address!". I hung up and did not answer the third call.
- Caller: "Telus"
- MikeWant weird? Just called my house and asked to f**k my wife. No kidding! She hung up on them. Called immediately back. This time I answered and the caller asked to speak to "the lady" in broken english. When I asked why he replied "because I want to f**k her". My comments to him are not fit to type out lol.

- elaineI have had at least 6 calls today. Sometimes there was no one at the other end. They speak with a strong accent and say they are calling from Telus, Bell and other times mumble as if waiting for me to fill in the company name. Annoying. I have asked them to stop calling. Will see if they do since the last call. I yelled at them to stop calling

- Mr. HappyNowLast week i bought a Panasonic cordless phone model # KX-TGE242C . About $120.00 at Walmart . Best money ever spent . This phone can block up to 250 Numbers and has the option to block incoming calls that have no phone number like 3910 . Can tell you the phone has gone quiet . I will be blocking all those charity and government survey numbers also that the CRTC allows to call me . Screw you . Putting my number on the Do Not Call list was the biggest mistake of my life . I now finally have redemption .
- Caller: Bin Laden
- AnnieHe called 3 times in a row so I answered it, It's a guy with an Indian accent who says I have a virus on my computer, I couldn't even understand him. I told him my computers are fine and i can do it on my own if there was a problem, and he said let me get on the computer to help you. It is definitely a scam, so do not listen!! I told him to never call me again, and then he called back in 10 min...
