I received a call from this number. They hung up before I was able to answer.

Tried to wake me up at 6,20AM too.

Got a call 10 PM Finnish time (9 PM in Italy where the call came from)
Got some sort of a queuing signal when I answered, then the line was closed.
Must remember to mute my mobile for the night...

Tried to reach me too. There was nobody but the sound, which was like they were trying to send fax.
I hung up.

I got it friday evening, twice ringed I answered - queuing sound, sort of... and then hanged up. I never called back because I saw the country code - I googled and got these same things happening. Some places told such a places bill you by seconds you answer and 1 second could be 18 US dollars - so this is criminal. I have reported to my Cellphone provider, because if my next bill is bigger of this S**t - I won't pay. This is sort of Nigerian Scam thing, to make people to pay them in this way. Also my SIM card messed up too, so I need to change it, because it tries GPRS connect to somewhere...., who knows where. If I try to change options, phone just shut itself off.

is it because when the Networks in each country bill the victims they keep half the money and are making millions?

The Italian Regulator(Agcom)and the International Regulator(ITU) have both been contacted and refuse to comment.
