i am from turkey. and this number also called me on 03.07.2009 . after two seconds the line dropped. i think it is a too expensive chatting service. never call that number back.

got a call from this number 20.07.2009, but couldn't pick up. Tried to call back a few hours later, but luckily no one answered...

I received a call as well on 21st of August from this number, I called back and all what I could hear is a kind of chatting which is not clear. do not call back, it's a scam

We have contacted the Italian Regulator Agcom.  The company that has been allocated all these 39319xxxxxxx is Intermatica (Italy.

Earlier this year the International Regulator (ITU) shut another identical international call back scam down.  Those 'premium rate' numbers also belonged to Intermatica (Italy)

This caller just called Nassau Bahamas Sept 8 2009. Did not call back.

I am from Beirut Lebanon....this number called me 9/9/09 at 10 P.M at night local time Beirut. It made a quick ring on my cell phone and then hung up. The country code +39 is Italy...

Some [***] Italian Mafia wonna make some extra dollars I guess by call back. Thanks for the internet we can all communicate and share these issues....

this is mass-marketed spam that is being sent to millions of phones in numerous countries.  It is against International law.  These 39319xxxxxxx numbers are Italian mobile numbers all belong to Intermatica (Italy) and are being used to bill for premium rate services.  They are intentionally being left to give the impression they are genuine calls.  If your children were to innocently return the call not only would you be left with a large phone bill your child would be connected to some porn line from Italy.

The national phone companies and Intermatica are sharing the revenue from this fraud.

THAT IS AGAINST NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LAW!!

The Italian Regulator has been told and they are turning a blind eye to fraud and a deaf ear to complaints.

Ask Roberto Viola why you are all being spammed with filth from Italy.

I am from the Netherlands and also got a call from this number today (14-9-09). I did not got the chance to pick up, and did not call back because a this weird number. Checked the country code; +39 was Italy, but I don't know anyone there.
It's weird to see, when googling the whole number, it appeared lot of people were called by this number. I'm gonna warn my family and friends though.
