my mom got a call from this number confirming if the number they called ii my office number or home number

the same number has called my mobile 8 times this week. And when i try to call it back, it's out of reach, or disconnected maybe.

I've received a call from this number too...but when I tried to call back it's busy, nut later that day my phone rung and registered the same number...only to find out that this was from EAST WEST BANK and inviting me to avail a credit card...

does anyone here goes to makati before? any particular company? imagine that they have your number and where did they get it? It's like they have database of numbers or source that they get to contact us. so our privacy is once violated by the company/people involve on this matters!

i just hang up on this one. she said they'd be offering a timex watch i dunno they told me somebody referred my number to eastwest bank they knew my whole name wtf. i game them an adress it's close but it isn't accurate i hope this won't be bad.

This called me up last March 31, and i dont know how they got my number and why they called me? What is the company or business of this number ?

Someone call me from this number but i am not home that time only my sister answered the phone but she didn't understand what company it is. I am far from my sister home now. Please help me to find from what is this number.

Apparently they have a database of contact numbers which they got from different online websites asking you for your contact details (e.g. registration). If you don't want your number in any of these guys' databases, be careful on any of your online registrations.

I was employed in a company and after 3 months, they keep on calling saying "employment's verification for ms. jhana blah blah blah". and as usual, my ofcm8s gave them some of my info like how many years i am in the company, my monthly income, my home address. and after how many months, i received a parcel containing credit card. (but i did not apply?!) the messenger said im lucky coz i was approved and many applicants are not.hah! after some time looking at it for months, i decided to activate it,since i never had one before and im kind of excited to use it. for a year, i paid the debts well and a time came when a problem came... they keep calling me at the office,texting me, threatening me.i read a a lot of comments at different sites, they will never be good to you, they will harass you, they will make a facebook account in your name and will add your friends to lend money, shoutout bad things about u and ur family, they even pretend to be a police or a lawyer (for now,i'm not their victim from that, and i wish that will not happen to me since i have debts for only 14k). yes, they are all f..kng p.g! my advice, dont ever entertain them coz in the end, when u have trouble on your credit card debt, (u can never tell since i am confident about having it before,but you can never say what would happen in the future) u will just see. THEY MIGHT HAVE A DATABASE OF NAMES AND CONTACT NUMBERS,WHERE DID THEY GET THAT? I WISH WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT. WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN PROTECT US FROM THAT SCHEMES.another thing, they got another contact number of my office, now i have to watch out for our 2 land line numbers.

Same scenario, some one calls to the office for employment verification. Where did they got those info.   then, today some one calls in our office land line that i'm chosen by eat west bank for free credit cards..blah blah blah. they ask info about me then so i give the info..then they ask me to give names of at list 3 of my office mates but dahh i notice its a scam already, they ask names from the office to try those schemes to them... Am I correct about it? hope somebody can do  something about it.

Hah! a number, 09175374654 said East West Bank is conducting a phone interview about a promo Samsung gadget or Timex Watch, he sounded legitimate but when he asked me to give names of other person in our office and he asked me to send photocopies of my signature, I cut him off to the point of my being rude to him!

scam suspicion

This has been happening since this time. Just yesterday, I received a call from this number 09666627621. Asking me of an eastwest bank credit card with "two chips" emv and other chips for security and a no annual membership fee. Kasama na rin daw na pati annual membership ko from my other bank eh kaya nilang baguhin ang membership and they will send me a new credit card from.my current bank (pwede ba yun?) Then iyun na nga parang nakuha na niya loob ko then, may kakausap pa daw sa akin na manager, using same number pa rin. Then ito na at kinukuha na nya yung credit limit ko from that bank of mine then the card validity. Muntik ko na nang masabi pero nagpakita ako sa kanya na parang in doubt ako then dito na nya ako parang tine threat. Kesyo ipapa block nya raw ako sa banking network nang mastercard and visa card at parang nainis na sya sa akin dahil na rin siguro parang nag invest na sila nang load then wala naman palang mapapala sa akin. Btw, may freebies din silang timex watch with the free membership. I called on my bank and report that fraudulent number. Nakatimbre na sila. Nga pala, madadala ka nila na bakit alam nila yung 1st 8 dgit nang credit card mo but got it confirmed with the phone banker na normal daw ito at halos pare pareho ang mga card holder nang number na ito. Pero yung other 8 digits ang hindi nila alam at ito ang hindi dapat ibininigay kasama nang card validity at 3 digit number da likod. Hope this helps for us to be more aware of.
