- JimDitto - Same cll/message. If COMCAST thinks this is good customer service follow-up - THEY'RE WRONG ! All it does is [***] the eir customers when thy find out who the caller is. Get rid of it - COMCAST !
- Caller: comcast
- AnnoyedYes I have to believe that this is related to Comcast it is a coincedence that this call came in about an hour or so after the technicians left my house. Because I did not recognize the ID as Praire voice and the area code 402...I did not pick up but what i did not like is the fact that they also called my cell phone and didn't even have the courtesy to leave a voice mail.
- Caller: Praire Voice
- lindaCalled me twice today, but as it came up as just "Nebraska" on my id, I let my machine take it and they do not leave any sort of message.
After reading the other comments here, I did have
Comcast come out for a house call today.
BUT if you are from Comcast, SAY you are Comcast on caller id and I will pick up! Not saying who you are is lame! - NicoleReceived a call twice with no voicemail the first time (second time it was a hangup voicemail)..less than 24 hours after a comcast service call
- New Haven CTGo calls from this number both yesterday and today. I assume it was Comcast, based on the other comments on this page and the fact that the calls coincide with comcast service.
Sleazy of them, to call on my cell phone and also leave no message. I hope that someone at Comcast can review this and stop these intrusive calls.
I also reported this on the DONotCall registry but I guess it won't help, because all of us on this page are comcast customers. - NewEnglanderBlank voicemail of 5 seconds left but no talking.
- NewEnglanderJust saw the comments above. We did just have a Comcast service call an hour ago.
- RonGot call from this number on my landline as well as my cell phone - very annoying.
- MicheleReceived call first time on cell! Do Not Call registry is not worth anything unless you use it. It is one thing to put your name on the list and it is quite another to manage your unwanted calls by updating the registry online. It is unreasonable to expect the registry to keep on top of every unsolicited call but if you update the registry as to the unwanted calls it can serve us all to receive less calls instead of increasingly receiving them. Do Not Call registry is not a one time shot...you have to actively participate. I do. And I have less problems than any of my friends and co workers. Also, I block these calls on my landland; they get a message after one ring...you are blocked. I save settings on my cell to mute so I don't have to hear the ring and obviously dismiss the call; they never leave a voice message. Try it!
- Caller: Prairie Voice
- Lee McCueIt is definitely Comcast related. I had a tech at my house today and half an hour later then 3 hours later Prairie Voice called. My mother also had Comcast at her house this afternoon -- sure enough two calls from Prairie and no message.
- annoyed by telemarketers replies to LynIt's comcast calling about your recent service call. They can call you back all they want since you have done business with them. You cannot block a business you engage with on the do not call list.
- GMGApparently it is Comcast. We had a service call today, and we received two of these stupid "Prairie Voice Services" calls, which we did not answer. They get the answering machine and leave a blank message. When you dial the number, you are thrown into a Comcast Computer Survey which does not give you an option for "stop calling me, I hate this".
Why annoy customers this way? Comcast is hanging on by its fingernails with us anyway, their equipment is so lousy and gives us so much grief. We have had Comcast digital service for over a year, and we have had, I am not kidding, 13 service calls so far. The technicians are fine, but the equipment is terrible. Can't wait until we get so fed up we switch over to Dish Network, and are ready to fully embrace all the accompanying nuisance of getting a new bunch of equipment installed...but I truly feel it has to be better. I always liked Satellite TV when I had it at other locations.
Why are we waiting? Because we have equipment installation fatigue. This is our fifth Comcast HD cable box (they've been replacements for various equipment problems). We can't yet face another black box full of electronics we have to learn all over again.- Caller: Prairie Voice Services

- KathyReceived this call after switching to Comcast telephone service. They have called twice. We do not answer unfamiliar numbers and names. After checking this site, I e-mailed Comcast relative to the lack of courtesy and professionalism using this practice. We shall see what response they give.
- Caller: Prairie Voice
- ditto replies to Pam VI'm assuming it's an automated call, too. This probably means it's also an automated survey, so couldn't hurt to pick up and choose to opt out of the survey.
I've received multiple calls this afternoon (after Comcast had been by) and the Nebraska thing threw me off. Might be good if they had their technicians give us a heads-up. - oatmealsmomI've gotten two calls on my cell from this number today, plus one at home. They let it go to voicemail but don't leave a message. The caller ID says Omaha, NE.
- Caller: Unknown
- DubbieIt's simply an automated customer satisfaction survey initiated by Comcast regarding any recent service call.

- Laurie Wilmot NH replies to HankHank - same thing happened to me after new Comcast install! May 18, 2009
- SuzanneCalled one hour after Comcast tech left... Didn't answer, no VM. Called again 3 hours to the minute of the last call. Again, I did not answer, no VM. Searched here and saw it was Comcast. Makes total sense now!
