This is a collection agency

Was doing collections for Nebraska Medical Center

We received a phone call from this number. We (wife and I) are pretty sure it is a scam. They claim to be doing collections for the Nebraska Medical Center, but this is not the number that the Nebraska Medical Center gives for their collection agency. UNMC and UNMC Physicians go through the same collections agency, and it is not this number; it is a 1-877 number. Ignore these people. They claimed we owed over 2 thousand dollars to UNMC, and with further investigation by calling UNMC and the number THEY gave us, it is not the case.

I had the same thing happen and in the same VM they left that number plus another 402 number ..

When I answer the call nobody reply to me, just silence. Weird!! Most like a scam.

When I returned the call, I asked if they were a collection agency and was told it was a private business and she could not say.  If you can't identify yourself, I do not have business with you.

Do you think all employees take calls off the same phone? They each have different numbers

Received call from +14028840733 They coukd not identify themselves. They said a private business, but no names. I thus clicked bye.
