Receiving calls daily now from these "veteran's mortgage" companies.  When I talk to the representatives, they claim their company name is either VA SOLUTIONS or VA HELP DESK.  I cannot find any information about either "mortgage company" online.  Calling the numbers back usually results in a not-in-service recording.  I just keep filing the complaints on the DO NOT CALL registry but feel it's a total waste of time.  The operators or business representatives must be formerly abused kids or spouses with a disdain for all of humanity.  Even asking them the most mundane questions about their business results in a disconnect.  Since they are not interested in making money, their drive must be for revenge to society.  C U all in HELL!

The phone calls continue, regardless of the number of complaints filed with DNC.  I talked with the NATIONAL FIDELITY MORTGAGE company representative this robo-calling telemarketing company handed me off to.  The perception they wish you to believe is that this is a Veteran's Administration affiliate that is doing this "service" for the veteran's to get them the streamlined loans.  According to Brian of this Fortune 500 company, they just now started using the VA HELP DESK (sometimes calling themselves VA SOLUTIONS) and had no idea that the telemarketer is violating FEDERAL LAW by unscrupulously calling veterans.  A FORTUNE 500 COMPANY DOESN'T CHECK THE MARKETING COMPANY THEY PAY?  I will never, EVER deal with ANY COMPANY that uses ILLEGAL TACTICS such as this, regardless if it directly, or indirtectly using a company in violation of FEDERAL LAW.  At least he said he understood and will report my comments and feedback -- But I've heard that song before!
P.S.:  FIRST CHOICE MORTGAGE also uses this same company to drum up business.

They are now supposedly lowering you home loan by working with the government. Tried pressing 2 to remove and the last two times i have asked them not to call and they just hang up the phone. Some one fake them out and get their mailing address!

I reported them to FCC i suggest you do the same before they take advantage of your friend.

this number rang on my cell phone. I answered with no response. I did find out the number is a land line in Atlanta, Georgia. We have friends in Georgia but they don't have my cell number and very doubtful they would call me anyway.

When they or anyone unknown calls answer the phone in this fashion:

"Centerville Police department, this line is being recorded, how can I help you----- (wait for it)

The repeat if you hear nothing - "Centerville Police department, this line is being recorded"

Then hang up after 15 seconds - THEY WILL NEVER CALL AGAIN ! ! ! ! !

Cease and desist calling

Got a call from 4043357149.  CID shows INSURANCECO.  Didn't answer the phone.

Have been receiving calls at both my home and cell numbers (both are on the Do Not Call list) from this number for several months.  Doing some research and have found one of the best ways (besides reporting them to the FTC) to get back at them is to connect with your local TV news "problem solvers" team and let them investigate and ambush the people who show up.  Here are some examples of people and news teams that did just that.  One here (blog post and video): http://lee.org/blog/2009/04/16/carpet-cleaning-telemarketers/  and one here (different person with TV news crew): http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=news/7_on_your_side&id=6645842

They seem to be using (or masking caller ID with) the following 3 different phone numbers: 404-335-7149, 214-382-7533, and 877.999.7705.  I have received calls from the two non-toll free numbers multiple times.  After watching videos of how the other two people handled this, I'll be contacting all 3 of my local news stations tomorrow to see which ones want to ambush this company.

Receive repeated calls about my home mortgage, which I have no problems with.  I punch 2 to stop receiving calls but I keep getting them.

I got a call from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. The caller ID says Georgia.
