I got a call from them yesterday threating me too. I talked to a lawyer and they told me there isnt nothing they could do but i am getting tired of hearing from them. I wont give them a call back i wish they just would leave me alone.

they call my job last week asking for 1200.00 but wont tell me the name of the payday loan.  But won't me to send them 200.00 n0w in 150.00 later. Saying that they are taking me to court on a close account. Can they do that.

I gave them my wal mart information in advance for next week if i don't pay what can they do.

These people are a pain in my ass i have talk to them about this matter and agent hall and agent cox think that i am stupid to sent them some money when they can't even tell you who you own so people be ware of this jack ass in atlanta Dorsey Thornton and associates this is from chicago.

This company is so full of s--t Dorsey Thornton Associates plaese can some one sue them all these numbers are the same so people when you put your information on line please be very careful because you have jack a-- like them waiting on people to take they hard earn money from chicago.

i  also  have  got  a called   from  them  they  are calling  my   aunt  saying  i  owe  them  some  money  but  i dont  owe  them  nothing  they  keep  calling  tell  me  want  to  do  because  i am not  paying  themm nothing   but   i will  be   seeking  a lawyer  and  this  no.  404-935-9477  he  say  his  name  is  agent  neal.

I got numerous calls from Agent Johnson. He acts like he's on the Crime Force for bad checks. I never wrote a bad check to these people or to any payday loans. I paid off my loans. Now there saying I have to prove it. But yet they can't tell me [***]. All they say is I owe and I'm gonna pay. I can't send checks or money orders. I have told them not to call me at work and today what does the jerk do. Yep your right calls me at work and wants to talk to my supervisor. I am calling a lawyer this is not good. If I owed money I would pay but I paid for my loans in 2005. The numbers that call me are 404-946-4038 and 4049359485. If someone sues them in the State of MN please let me know I'm aboard. I am not from GA so no idea how they get my information either. My bank told me 2005 they were a scam. I sure learned my lesson.

I keep getting these calls at work.  I don't know what they are talking about cause I haven't taken a payday loan out on line.  I told him I wanted them to send me the original document showing what they say I owe.  He kept telling me that they already sent it to me.  I have not received anything in the mail.  So he sent some bogus document and after I opened it I got a virus on my computer, good thing I have good security so it didn't do much to my computer.  I have told him several times not to call me at work and he still does.  If I did owe it I would pay it but, I'm pretty sure it is not mine.  He wouldn't even tell me his first name just goes be Agent Johnson.  Then he wouldn't give me the number to his company, he gave me his personal number.  I got the name of his company from the document he sent me.

haaa agent johnson send me email too. Funny thing is I cant open it and files says zero. All the subject says is letter of demand. I emailed them back said I cant open this letter. I called the Attorney General office and they said do not talk to these people give them no information and hang up on them. They are a scam and if they do not have license in your state they can not collect. Agent Johnson call me I have a few words for you now. I read on the website Fair Debt collections and he is going to get a few words from me and I also set up a recorder at work. So I will be ready this time this [***] calls me. I PAY MY BILLS and I am a hard working single mother of 4 how dare this [***]!!!

how can these people get away with this. i keep getting calls from agent hiligar saying i owe on a payday loan. i got the name of the loan she said i owed on  in 2008. called my bank and they cannot find a record of that. she said i still took it out and will not accept a letter from my bank. what do i do?

i paid these people over 3 grand and they obviously didnt pay off my debt that wasnt even supposed to be over a thousand dollars now i have a lawyer and still have to pay my debt to the right people but this i know ill never pay something over the phone again

Received a call from Dorsey Thornton& Associates tell me that I owed a total of $1073.00 for a Payday Loan taken out in 2008. When I attempted to tell this no english speaking person that I had already paid this debt off with another company called InterCheck System, he put me on hold, then this guy by the name of Investigator Deok Hamlett came on the phone and started all these threats about going to jail for a bad check. I'm not paying and let's see what happens when I ask him if they are licensed to collect in the state of Tennessee

They keep calling me also. How do we find out if they're licensed in tennessee

The payday loan industry is now known for trafficking people's application data and getting them harassed for false "hot check" claims.

Now say it with me ..... YOU ARE ABUSING THE CONSUMERS!
Please pay your shiny new penalty to Georgia's Office of Consumer Protection and stop blaming victims to squirm out of it. The economy will be better off if you criminals begin acting responsibly .... or find honest employment, or just toss yourselves from the roof of your call center. Whatever is easiest.
