I just got a call from this number...told me to answer 3 questions and i could win one of the three prizes. Its a load of crap. How can i turn them in? i dont want them having my number or any of my personal information

This company is Federal Financial Group and they sell insurance.    The prize thing is a ploy to get Federal to come to your location and delivery the scratch card with your prize winnings.   In return, you have to give them 20 minutes to explain their services.

I also got same stories to share with you...they called me almost everyday so what came into my mind is to try if it is really a scam so i answered the questions and met up with that federal insurance prof. I was bored about that 20 mins. the scratch card was true and actually i've won 2500 dollars in cash tru that card but the 20 mins. is quite annoying^^...good thing i got instant money...

I just got a call from these folks, too.  They've been calling all week.  It appears from the website for Federal Financial Group that
a) this is a legitimate contest going until Dec 2013,
b) it is to "attending a 20 to 30 minute sales presentation by an FFG representative discussing financial, insurance and annuity products and related services."
c) you can allegedly opt out of FFG by contacting them by mail:

The number that called me said: Unassigned 360-227-4619 on my caller id.

Oh, you poor people. None of you know what you're talking about. How is this a phishing scam? They don't get any information to phish you with. They get very general information and then try to set up an appointment. This is definitely a sales call why don't you people just answer them and then refuse the appointment? I'm not at all affiliated with them but I got called as well. I answered their questions and made an appointment. I have talked with someone and won the vacation. I don't plan on doing business with them right now but I will consider it for the future. None of you on this thread understand anything about how telemarketing works.

Because they are calling my business repetitively and when i ask for a name and number to call them back as I am busy with a client, they get real snippy. If you cant respect my time, then I have no need for your services, free or otherwise. If someone is on a DNC list respect their wishes, DO NOT CALL
