wanted to lower my interest rate on credit card. they also called my mother and got angry with her. I reported the number to our state attorney general office.  I get about five of these calls a day and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

These people keep calling the business I work at. I finally just pressed 9 to speak with someone and tell them that this is a place of business and we DO NOT have any company credit cards. The asshat that answered kept asking me why we didn't have credit cards and telling me that we needed to get some and spend some money. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he insisted that he WAS a supervisor and said he wanted to talk to me. When I asked for a manager he said "I can't believe you're being like this" then came back on the phone using a female's voice! I asked for someone else and he finally hung up on me. What can we do about this people?! I am so frustrated!

I just called one of the numbers that I saw on this site for these scammers and here is the info I received from this company.  They don't consolidate your credit cards, they negotiate on your behalf with your existing credit card companies to lower your interest rate, for a fee obviously.  

He gave me a website of www.sapphirefinancials.com and a phone number of 866-942-6441.  We all need to report these jokers to the do not call police, because as an insurance agent myself, the fines can be huge if they can be caught.

They got my mother's credit card info, and tried to charge her card $995. Thankfully she called me and let me know her CC interest rate was being knocked down to 1.9%.

They ask us if we wanted to lower our credit card intrest rates.

On the do not call lists, but still we get this stuff.

5-08-09  12:57pm  Received a call from this number, pushed 9 and a man that called himself Jason answered the call, I told him that I wanted my number removed from their calling list, his reply was you are a  a s s hole, excuse me, then he said go F...K yourself and hung up....OMG

"Canned" message offering to lower my credit card interest rate.

May 13, 2009-- 5:45pm, just received a call, but did not answer, although I have before and was cut off when I questioned them. I reported them to the FBI.
Why does the "Do Not Call List" work ?

Got a call from this number, an offer to "help reduce my credit card interest rates". I waited for a representative then spent a few seconds giving them a piece of my mind. I was not complimentary. Moments later a young male African-American caller from the same number called and said that I should, "watch my f***ing back". As I am well armed, and about 3000 miles away, I'm not concerned. I don't have caller ID, I did a last number look-up.

As soon as I picked up, it began a pre-recorded message about my business's credit card processing, saying "Currently there is nothing wrong with your account." Well, I hope not, because we have no credit card processing accounts whatsoever. Nice robocall fail.

This is an attempt to obtain your credit card number and rob you. The robo-call said my credit card interest rate was about to expire and she could get me a better one. My interest rate is fixed through my credit union and good until 2015. I called them to get more info and they said they represented Credit Cardholder Services and were based in Orlando, Florida. Can't find any such company. Filed a criminal report to the FBI and urge you to do the same.
