It is located in Florida.

Hey, I hope you few come back here to check because I am also from Halifax, NS, Canada... I noticed this weird number on my phone when I got home the other day, but its more weird for me... 4 7 88 is my birthday :S and 47 is like my number (I know its common but my birthday is april 7th and its coincidentally portrayed into random things that happen in life... hence this).

 I really wanna know who the hell this is I'm trying to find out and if I can I'll come back here and post it up.

I just got a call from this number as well. It was one of those "Congratulations, you have just been chosen to receive a once in a lifetime offer... Press 9 to continue" and when you press whatever it is they ask, you start getting charged. At least, I think that's how it works. There was something about this type of scam on the local news within the last year or so.  I'm in Newfoundland, Canada.

I got this number on my phone to but something weird about it the phone number went like this on my phone 1-140-747-8000  how could this be i checked there is no such number so i tried to call it back and all i got was a lady's voice saying Please check your number and dail again, but all i did was press the botton to show me the number and than press my on but and this happend so than i came backto the computer and tried 1-407-478-0000 and found you guys anyone else out there get the same thing as i did, i want to know who this number is!! Thanks

I am living in Newfoundland and I received this call on my phone today.  #407-478-0000.  I didn't answer it I was asleep and sick. I called back and got a voice mail  Preston Blackwell.  Who is this?  Is it a scam.  I want it to stop.......

I just got a phone call from this number as well. It's obviously a scam. I'm in St-Jerome near Montreal.

I guess they are now calling in the Gatineau (Outaouais) region in Quebec...SCAMERS!...

Now there calling New-Brunswick(Caraquet)..wasn't home at time of call, they call at 3h50 p.m. today. I saw number on caller id.
